I have already bought another pair of these socks when making a different purchase. They are relatively thin, but even so, they keep you very warm and worked brilliantly at -22 degrees. It looks like there really is some merino wool here. Previously I wasn't convinced, but now I recommend them – you don't need thick socks to feel warm.
Pentagon Alpine Merino Light Socks - Black
Lightweight socks in Black, designed for hiking and everyday use. Suitable for warmer months, especially spring and summer, and compatible with any type of footwear.
Merino wool
Merino wool (40%) provides thermoactive properties, efficiently wicking moisture away from the skin. The material also has antibacterial properties.
Anatomical fit, flat seams
The anatomical fit ensures that the socks conform well to the shape of the foot. The use of flat seams reduces the risk of chafing and irritation, enhancing comfort during long hikes.

I am very satisfied with these socks: they are extremely comfortable and seem to be of very good quality. The foot stays dry even on long routes, which makes a clear difference in comfort. They fit well on the foot and do not cause any discomfort when worn.
-
The socks are comfortable and warm, and they breathe well. After washing and tumble drying, they do not shrink. Unfortunately, their durability could be better – it might be worth considering a more expensive option.
-
I really like these socks, but because they are mostly made of wool, they wear out quite quickly. If you plan to replace them often, they’ll be great, but if you’re looking for something more durable, I recommend Lowa socks.
-
I really have to praise the manufacturer Pentagon—everything they produce is of top quality. The socks are great as long as it's not extremely cold, and the workmanship is excellent. I'm very satisfied.

I bought the Pentagon Alpine Merino Light for everyday wear in the city with high boots. Very satisfied! They are much thinner than regular winter socks, so the footwear doesn't pinch, but at the same time, they are much warmer than cotton ones. The fabric is very soft, not itchy at all. They look stylish and professional. Worth every penny spent.

At first, they seemed a bit artificial to me, but after changing my mind a few times I have to say they are great. They work very well with gore-tex shoes.
-
I bought the socks at a bargain price, and according to the manufacturer, they contain a certain amount of wool, which is indeed visible and noticeable. However, to the touch, they feel more like synthetic materials. The overall first impression is positive, but I have other socks with a higher wool content that seem more natural and are of better quality.

I decided to make the purchase, tempted by the positive reviews and the reduced price. These are my first merino wool socks and so far I am satisfied with them – they work well. I am curious to see how they will hold up after longer use and a few washes. I can recommend them.
-
The socks are very comfortable, but their durability leaves much to be desired. After a few months of use, I noticed holes at the front in several pairs. It's a pity, because the wearing comfort is really high.
-
Excellent, high socks from Pentagon. I use them together with Lowa shoes and I am very satisfied. They are perfect for the current season. I wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone.
-
These are another absolutely gleaming product from Pentagon, these socks are the mutts nuts . In fact I would have to say best darn ( no pun intended) socks I have ever worn . Quality 🧹😎👌
-
They look solid and have a nice colour scheme. I bought 3 pairs to try out and planned to order more, but they wear out quite quickly. This is the Light version.
-
On cold days, they wick moisture well and work even without the need for intense movement. The material is sturdy, doesn’t pill, and the attractive price makes it worth getting a few pairs and not worrying about comfort during cold weather.

This is my first test transaction, previously I used Inmove Trekking socks. Initially, I am satisfied, although I haven't had the chance to test them in low temperatures yet. I will only be able to give a final opinion in December. The price is acceptable.
