The socks are made from a blend of materials that ensure comfort, durability, and practicality. The composition is as follows:
- 40% Merino wool – a natural fiber with thermoactive and antibacterial properties, effectively wicking moisture and regulating foot temperature.
- 40% acrylic – a synthetic fiber that provides lightness, softness, and durability, supporting the socks’ shape retention.
- 17% polyamide – strengthens the material, increasing resistance to stretching and abrasion.
- 3% elastane – responsible for elasticity and good fit, preventing the socks from slipping during movement.
Anatomic cut, flat seams, reinforcements
The Heavy model features an anatomic cut and elastic inserts in the central sole area, ensuring a good fit to the foot. Flat seams reduce the risk of chafing and irritation, making the socks ideal for long hikes.
In areas prone to faster wear, such as toes and heel, additional reinforcements made of thicker material have been applied to increase durability.
