Professional ear protectors with active noise cancellation function. The model is equipped with two high-frequency microphones to aid in the audibility of ambient sounds. The Peltor ComTac VIII hearing protectors protect against noise levels up to 29 dB.
The protectors are equipped with the ability to adjust the volume of sounds heard and conversations as needed. The use of an advanced electronic circuit protects against impulse and constant noise. A listening mode with Mission Audio Profiles (MAP) maximizes hearing quality based on the acoustic environment. Spatial sound analysis automatically shapes sounds and helps improve speech understanding in noise.
The wide cushions insulate very well from noise. The lower part is profiled, so that the protectors do not interfere with shooting. The low-profile headband evenly distributes pressure on the head, which allows you to wear them for a long time without feeling uncomfortable pressure. The expandable design makes it easy to adjust the protectors to the shape of the shooter's head. The model is compatible with most military helmets.
ThePeltor ComTac VIII is powered by two AAA batteries, which will last for approx. 50 hours of operation. Replacing them requires only removing the panel on the side of one of the shells. The device is equipped with a low power warning system and an automatic shut-off function after 4 hours of non-use.
