Advanced ear protectors featuring active noise cancellation. This model includes two high-frequency microphones to enhance the audibility of surrounding sounds. The Peltor ComTac VIII hearing protectors offer protection against noise levels up to 29 dB.
These protectors allow adjustment of the volume for heard sounds and conversations as needed. An advanced electronic circuit prevents both impulse and continuous noise. The listening mode, with Mission Audio Profiles (MAP), enhances hearing quality based on the acoustic environment. Spatial sound analysis automatically shapes sounds and facilitates better speech comprehension in noisy settings.
The wide cushions provide excellent noise insulation. The lower part is contoured to prevent interference with shooting activities. The Peltor ComTac VIII is powered by two AAA batteries, offering approximately 50 hours of use. Replacing them is simple, requiring the removal of a panel on one of the shells. The device includes a low battery warning system and an automatic shut-off feature after 4 hours of inactivity.
