MSA 3S Basic Gas Mask

The MSA 3S Basic full-face gas mask, when used in conjunction with filters, canisters or filter canisters, provides full protection of the respiratory system, eyes and facial skin against steam, gases, dust, smoke, mists and aerosols.

The main part of the mask is made of black rubber compound, while the panoramic visor is made of scratch- and impact-resistant acrylic. The viewfinder provides a wide field of vision.

The size of the mask is universal, with a wide sealing strap and a deep chin indentation allowing the mask to fit tightly on any face. Thanks to convenient head straps, it is possible to quickly put on and take off the mask without adjusting the length of the straps.

The special valve arrangement ensures good sound transmission and speech intelligibility during operation. The whole unit is easy to maintain and clean.

The filter respirator to the mask is connected withthe Rd 40x1/7" connector, which complies with the EN-148-1 standard.

Note that the mask does not include a filter absorber, it must be purchased separately or by selecting a kit.

3S Basic complies with the EN-136:1998 standard, which defines the requirements and tests that a mask must pass in order to be approved for use. This standard means that the mask must allow continuous operation in an atmosphere where hazardous substances are present.
