Mil-Tec Survival Blanket - Olive

A rescue thermal blanket is one of the essential components of any survival kit. Thanks to its multifunctionality, it will find use in hiking, outdoor, rescue and even uniformed services. The NRC foil is designed to protect the human body from rapid heat loss, insulate from the ground temperature and protect from adverse weather conditions such as wind or rain. 

It is made of waterproof and durable aluminum-coated plastic. The surface of the blanket reflects up to 90 percent of heat, protecting the body from cooling.

The dimensions of the blanket when unfolded flat are 215 x 132 cm. It can be unfolded in many ways, for example, using rope or paracord and any environment (trees, rocks, terrain depressions), trekking poles, paddles or even a bicycle. When folded, the whole thing is compact, so it can easily fit into a backpack compartment or jacket pocket.

The blanket can also be used as:
- a thermal blanket to cover the body,
- a thermal tent,
- a warming pad for a hammock or a top layer for a sleeping bag,
- a picnic blanket or a tent floor to insulate against the cold and moisture of the ground,
- the method of transmitting a signal by reflecting light,
- a way of camouflage thanks to the green camouflage side.
