The emergency thermal blanket is an essential part of any survival gear. Thanks to its versatility, it is ideal for tourism, outdoor activities, rescue operations, and use by uniformed services. The NRC foil is designed to minimize body heat loss, insulate from cold ground, and protect against adverse weather conditions such as rain or strong wind.
The product is made of durable, waterproof synthetic material coated with aluminum. Thanks to its reflective properties, the foil surface retains up to 90% of heat, effectively preventing hypothermia.
When fully unfolded, the blanket measures 215 x 132 cm. Its construction allows for multiple setup options – using a rope, paracord, environmental elements (e.g. trees, rocks, terrain), trekking poles, paddles, or even a bicycle. Once folded, it takes up little space, easily fitting in a jacket pocket or backpack compartment.

The key word - it's not a blanket, but foil, isothermal. The photo on the page does not correspond to reality. The price is inflated, I really wanted to return it, but the guys needed it and I didn’t want to waste time. Its maximum value is 150-200 UAH.
I bought the blanket with my evacuation backpack in mind, looking for versatile gear, though it will also work great for everyday EDC. I hope to use it as a spare tarp or a thermal blanket. The materials used seem sturdier than regular NRC foil, though I haven't tested this yet. Even now, I can see that it is lightweight and doesn't take up much space.
An excellent, thick emergency blanket that can serve as a waterproof cover for a shelter roof or as a temporary tent with the use of a cord. I really recommend it, it works well in many situations. Once folded, it is very small and will fit even in your pocket.
I use it in my military first aid kit because of its green colour. A solid product at a good price, I have nothing to complain about—in fact, it positively surprised me. It reflects light more than, for example, a tarp, but that's foil, so you can't completely avoid reflections.
Dark, matte green does not reflect light. In terms of weight and size (when packed), it resembles a typical silver-gold one, but I haven't tested its durability. It's a pity there is no wider version 222 by 160 cm in this colour.
The foil is waterproof and very well protects against cold, wind, and tough conditions, preventing hypothermia. It’s a great choice not only for tourism or climbing, but also for rescue operations. The compact size makes it easy to carry.
A decent thermal blanket that should be included in the kit for every trip. The green colour is a big advantage for those who don't want to stand out from afar. I recommend it.

The thermal rescue tent is an ideal choice for tourist, mountaineering, and rescue applications. This versatile tent can also be used as a traditional sleeping bag or a large rescue blanket. Its small size makes it very easy to carry.
This is my first rescue blanket in a military-camouflage colour. Usually, they're in shiny, light-reflecting colours, but here on one side it's an Olive shade.
Solid and decent. Due to its small size, I carry it in my hip bag while hiking or sightseeing. In an emergency, it works well for sitting on the beach or in the park. I always have a second one in the car just in case. I recommend it.
Looks much better than a regular thermal blanket. Aesthetically packed, takes up little space. I think it will be fully effective if the need to use it arises.
Exceptionally light and durable blanket in dark green colour. The right thickness means good durability. I recommend it – it's worth having just in case. Additionally, it provides good camouflage.
NRC foil/thermal blanket in a rarely seen colour. Very good value for money. Most such foils cost more only because of the colour. I use it in the equipment of my tactical first aid kit.
