Mil-Tec MA-1 Flyers Basic Jacket - Olive
Lightweight and comfortable jacket in Olive color, designed in the classic “flyers” style. Made from a blend of durable synthetic materials, fastened with a sturdy zipper. The outer layer is nylon, while the interior features a polyester lining. Thermal insulation is provided by polyester padding with a density of 200 g/m2 on the torso and 180 g/m2 on the sleeves, helping to retain warmth in key areas.
Five spacious pockets
The model is equipped with five functional pockets:
- two located inside the jacket
- two external snap-button pockets
- one zippered pocket on the left sleeve
The external pockets are spacious, allowing you to warm your hands on cold days. The sleeve pocket is perfect for carrying small items like keys, pens, or other essentials.
Reversible design
The MA-1 jacket can be worn on both sides. The inner layer is made in a vibrant orange color, referring to the original purpose of MA-1 flight jackets for US Air Force pilots. In emergency situations, the bright side increased visibility and the chance of being found by rescue teams. Today, this feature can be useful when moving after dark in non-urban areas.
Elastic cuffs and hem, wind flap
The cuffs and bottom hem feature elastic bands to retain warmth and improve comfort in colder conditions. The main zipper is additionally protected by an internal wind flap.
