The jacket is fantastic! I have been using it as a winter jacket for two years. It is completely waterproof and windproof. The only downside is the lack of a drawstring at the waist.

A waterproof jacket modeled after the US ECWS Parka model. Made of a three-layer laminate that provides effective protection against wind and water. The fabric is at the same time vapor-permeable, which reduces the risk of overheating the body during activities that require increased effort.
The outer layer of the jacket is made of durable nylon, while the inner layer is made of polyester. A breathable polyurethane membrane is placed inside. Under the jacket there is a detachable warm fleece liner. Thanks to the bolster, the jacket can be worn not only in autumn and spring, but also in winter. The winter character of the Mil-Tec Wet Weather Jacket model is confirmed by a snow apron that prevents snow from getting under the jacket.
The model is equipped with seven pockets:
- two large ones closed with Velcro patches,
- a pocket on the sleeve,
- a large pocket with Velcro closure in the back lining,
- two side zippered pockets in the lining.
The jacket is fastened with a two-way zipper, which has been additionally secured with a strip. Breathability and air exchange with the environment are supported by underarm vents, closed with zippers.
The high collar and hood effectively protect the head and neck from the cold and wind. The cuffs are fastened with velcro (Velcro), which makes it possible to adjust their size and fit the thickness of the user's wrist. The model also has a drawcord adjustment at the waist and a drawcord in the bolster, which prevents the wind from getting under the jacket.

The hood is too shallow and does not protect the face well. It seems the manufacturer predicted this, as there are Velcro fastenings and press studs on the hood, probably for attaching some kind of visor. Unfortunately, such an element is neither included nor available.

The jacket gives the impression of being solid and seems to keep you warm thanks to the lining. I did not have the chance to test it in colder conditions or in the rain, as I had to return it. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the sizing – size L turned out to be much too large for me (184 cm, 82 kg, slim build). Based only on trying it on, I can say that the jacket makes a good impression, but definitely make sure you choose the right size before buying! The difference in chest width between this jacket in size L and the GEN 3 jacket is as much as 8 cm!

The jacket is very practical and versatile, exactly what I was looking for. It has a removable fleece, a nice colour and is very well made. However, the sizes tend to run a bit small, so it's worth choosing a size larger than the chart suggests.

Excellent, very warm and truly waterproof jacket. However, I must point out that you should pay attention to the size – I usually wear 2XL, but here, size L was suitable. The jacket with insulation is quite heavy. Despite this, I recommend it.
