Mechanically, the metal parts are flawless – the blade opens and closes easily and is quite well sharpened. The handle material is ordinary plastic, not nylon as in the V-x. The presence of an additional lock on a one-handed pocket knife annoys me, because it seems unnecessary. The choice between Mikov and Sentinel is just a matter of personal preference.
Compact pocket knife with a simple, functional design and a drop-point blade. The blade is made of AISI 420 stainless steel, hardened to a hardness of 53–55 HRC, which ensures a good cutting edge and easy sharpening. The smooth edge is flat ground, guaranteeing universal cutting properties.
It has a classic nail notch for opening and the proven Liner Lock, known for its ease of use and reliable operation, ensures safety during use.
The handle has scales made of PVC, a material resistant to mechanical damage and temperature. There is a metal ring (O-ring) at the back of the handle, which allows you to attach keys, a cord or a strap.

The metal parts in the knife worked properly – the opening and closing mechanism functioned well, and the blade was fairly well sharpened. Unfortunately, one of the handle scales would pop off one of the pins. It seems that quality may differ depending on the particular item. Therefore, it's worth considering for yourself whether to choose Mikov or Sentinel.

Easy to use, affordable, and a well-made penknife with a lock, which is a big advantage. A great choice for those just starting their adventure with knives.
