My previous sleeping bag served me for over a decade, but this new one replaces it perfectly. It is well-made, from a pleasant-to-touch material that doesn't get dirty. I've already spent a few nights in it in the forest and I must admit that even at the specified temperature it works great – it was even too warm for me, as it was about 6 degrees outside and I slept only in shorts, otherwise it would have been too hot. It retains heat very well, I definitely recommend it.
MFH Fox Outdoor Mummy Sleeping Bag - Olive
Durable olive sleeping bag with a mummy-shaped construction offering comfortable body alignment and freedom of movement while sleeping. Made from high-quality polyester, it features a tough outer shell and synthetic Hollow Fibre filling.
Temperature range and operating conditions
The temperature range of the Mummy sleeping bag has been determined according to EN ISO 23537-1:
- T-comfort: 2.4°C – the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably through the night,
- T-limit: -3.1°C – the lowest temperature at which a man can spend the night without feeling discomfort,
- T-extreme: -19.6°C – the minimum temperature for survival in the sleeping bag. This parameter is not recommended for regular use.
Polyester construction
The outer layer made of polyester effectively guards against abrasions, mechanical damage and moisture. The internal polyester lining feels pleasant against the skin. This makes the sleeping bag suitable for both demanding expeditions and relaxed camping.
Hollow Fibre filling
Insulation consists of a double layer of Hollow Fibre with a weight of 225 g/m2, which is lightweight and highly compressible. The quilted structure prevents the fibres from shifting, ensuring even heat distribution. The insulation remains springy even after repeated use and washing, and allows good air circulation. The material retains its thermal insulation properties even when wet, and is suitable for allergy sufferers as it does not cause allergic reactions.
Two-way zip
This model features a two-way zip with an additional hook and loop fastening running the full length of the sleeping bag.
Hood and collar with drawstring
An anatomically shaped hood increases thermal protection by closely wrapping the head and reducing heat loss at low temperatures. The well-designed shape provides extra protection from wind and moisture. Adjustable shoulder area and collar with drawstring effectively block cold air from entering the sleeping bag.
Easy to transport and store
The sleeping bag is easy to transport and store. Once folded and compressed, it measures just 40 x 25 x 25 cm and weighs 1950 g, making it easy to carry and not overly burdensome on your equipment.
Set elements
Included is a compression sack which makes the sleeping bag easier to store and transport.

Hollow Fiber is a type of synthetic fiber characterized by a hollow space inside the structure. Thanks to this solution, the fibers effectively retain air, which ensures high insulating properties without increasing the weight of the material. The fibers are lightweight, breathable and quick-drying, which is why they are widely used in thermal clothing, sleeping bags and outdoor equipment.

Whether the minus 10 degrees are realistic, I doubt, but at minus 2 degrees it is pleasantly warm. Together with the MFH bivvy bag, it's a good combo. The zips also work perfectly and don’t snag. The size is perfect and the material also feels pleasant. I can therefore recommend a purchase. Hard to find anything better in this price range.

The sleeping bag is excellent – in summer you can sleep in it even just in your underwear, without covering yourself with anything else. At the beginning of October, at a temperature of around -1°C, it still ensures a very comfortable sleep. Even my brother, who is always cold, was happy when he used the sleeping bag during finishing work in the house. Packing the sleeping bag into its sack is a separate adventure and quite a workout, as you can really work up a sweat doing it. At this price, I definitely recommend it to everyone who enjoys sleeping in the great outdoors.

I am very satisfied – at a temperature of -5°C, sleeping in a fleece and long johns, the comfort was really good. Without the fleece, it was also bearable, but a bit cold. It's a bit tight inside, but that's probably intentional.
-
The sleeping bag is solid and very warm. I will be testing it soon in light frost. At this price, it's hard to find a sleeping bag rated to -10 degrees.
-
The sleeping bag is carefully finished. I was pleasantly surprised by its softness and warmth. The only drawback is its relatively large size. For this price, it's a great choice, especially for weekend stays in the forest.
-
The sleeping bag is very warm. Although some people mentioned that it's hard to fit it into its cover, I didn't have much trouble with this. The only minor downside is the rather loud, rustling material, which may bother others.
-
The sleeping bag retains heat very well, making sleep comfortable even in difficult conditions, though not in extreme temperatures. It's durable, lightweight and practical. I highly recommend it to everyone.
-
I tested the sleeping bag on 08.03.2024. The sleeping bag itself is solidly made, but in my opinion it is not suitable for use at very low temperatures below -8°C.
-
The sleeping bag works brilliantly during severe frosts, is soft to the touch, nicely finished and carefully sewn. The zip runs smoothly without getting stuck, which is a big plus.
-
This is a very warm sleeping bag, it worked well during an overnight stay in a tent with an outside temperature of zero degrees. The price is adequate for the quality, I am satisfied with the purchase and recommend it to others.
-
The sleeping bag is inexpensive and provides good warmth. Unfortunately, it is a bit heavy and difficult to fold and put back into the cover. Nevertheless, it is really useful during winter nights in the forest and works great combined with a hammock.
-
I didn't expect too much for this price. I chose the sleeping bag as the cheapest option in case I needed to sleep at my allotment. As soon as it arrived, I tried it out straight away. It wasn't the best idea because it was over 10 degrees outside and after a few minutes I was completely sweaty :p :p :p. I think it will do well at lower temperatures.
-
Very good sleeping bag. The specification matches what the manufacturer provides. At this price, I definitely recommend it.

The sleeping bag is very comfortable and warm; during a night at around 6 degrees it was possible to sleep in just a T-shirt, even though the campfire had already gone out. At this price it's really a good choice. Highly recommended.
