The shoe is very comfortable and lightweight and fits the foot well. It provides excellent grip even on slightly icy mountain trails. Unfortunately, the waterproofing is disappointing – the front gets wet after just an hour of walking on damp forest litter, even though there was no rainfall. The pull tabs for taking the shoe off detach quickly, as if they were badly sewn or I've encountered a manufacturing defect (both sides have the same problem). I'll find out after an exchange/return. Despite the high price, I’ll give them one more chance because of their comfort (5/5), but at the moment I am very disappointed.

The Merrell Rogue GTX 8'' Tactical boots in Dark Coyote stand out thanks to some interesting technical solutions. The material is high quality, although quite thick, so they are better suited for winter. The tread also performs well on forest terrain. An additional advantage is a hook for gaiters. I definitely recommend this product.
