The shoe is very comfortable and light, and fits the foot well. It provides excellent grip even on slightly icy mountain trails. Unfortunately, the water resistance of the shoe is disappointing – the front gets soaked after just an hour of walking on damp forest litter, even though there was no rain. The pull tabs for taking the shoe off come off quickly, as if they were poorly sewn or I got a defective pair (both sides have the same issue). I’ll see after exchange/return. Despite the high price, I’ll give them another chance because of their comfort (5/5), but for now, I am very disappointed.

The Merrell Rogue GTX 8'' Tactical - Dark Coyote boots stand out with interesting technical solutions. The material is high quality, though quite thick, so they work better in winter. The tread also performs well in forest terrain. An additional advantage is the hook for gaiters. I definitely recommend this product.
