Mechanix Wear Cold Weather SUB40 Tactical Gloves - Realtree Edge

These gloves disappointed me. Firstly, they have a different sizing than other Mechanix models – I always used to buy size M, but this model turned out to be too big. Secondly, the lining comes out when taking them off, which makes it difficult to put the gloves on again. Ultimately, I returned them because I don't want to struggle with putting gloves on, especially with cold hands. They should be easy to put on.

I bought them with chilly autumn evenings with thick fog in mind. In this area, humidity can be quite a problem, and ordinary tactical gloves weren't good enough. These worked excellently, both in autumn and winter.

As always with Mechanix – good gloves, soft and warm inside, although you have to get used to putting them on comfortably. I think they’ll work better in autumn than during a harsh winter. Distinctive forest camouflage. I recommend them.

These gloves are quite good. I like Mechanix products, but this model is not perfect. They have some downsides – for example, the lining inside can move when putting on and taking off, which sometimes makes it harder to put them on and you have to adjust them. Despite this, I still recommend them.

These are not gloves intended for winter. They are comfortable and insulated, but in my opinion are better suited to autumn. In low temperatures, they do not provide enough warmth.

The gloves protect well against the cold and fit the hand perfectly, but you can't use them with touchscreens, which is a drawback. Otherwise, everything is fine. I recommend them.

Good and comfortable gloves, great for cold days for airsoft, but as mentioned, they are not completely effective. They provide some protection in mild frost, but in more severe cold your fingers can get cold and the gloves may let in moisture. Mechanix is a good brand, but for winter it's worth looking for something else.

I think they're suitable, because if they were any thicker, they could restrict hand movement, and when working with tools it's important to have good feel. I tested them outdoors. The downside is that although the colour is nice, they're easy to miss if left on the ground – better to clip them to your belt.

When it comes to protection against frost, I am very disappointed. Even a slight frost makes my fingers extremely cold. I would prefer to return them, as they do not serve their purpose.

Excellent warming gloves for winter. Perfect for mountain trips or working with weapons, although you have to get used to the thicker construction compared to models like the Mpact or 0.5 Speciality.

The gloves look good, although I haven't had a chance to test their waterproofing yet. They seem durable and the equipment is easy to operate in them. The downside is that the insulation could be better.

Very sturdy gloves, especially recommended for hunters – they have excellent camouflage, are extremely durable and practically indestructible. Brilliant product.

Delivery to Ukraine took a week (courier). I bought them to be prepared for the next winter – as they say, you should prepare for winter in summer. The size is right, there's a function for using a smartphone, and shooting in them is comfortable.

Comfortable and warm, they don't leak even in heavy, wet snow. Great for shooting.
