The M-Tac Hydration Bladder Gen 2 is a great product. The bladder itself is solidly made, and after cleaning, there is no noticeable plastic taste (at least in my experience). It's an excellent option instead of a traditional bottle carried in your hand or backpack during hikes. Personally, I use it in the Helikon Guardian Smallpack 7.5 l backpack and I think the 1.5 litre capacity is optimal for it.

Water tank with a capacity of 1.5 litres made from durable and environmentally friendly PEVA material, free from harmful BPA substances. The material used does not affect the taste or smell of the transported liquids. It is suitable for both sports activities and trips in nature.
Wide opening, easy cleaning, liquid measurement
A large opening, protected by a locking strip with handle, allows for quick filling, safe closing, and convenient cleaning. A measurement scale on the side allows for monitoring the fill level. Equipped with a replaceable 109 cm long hose with a mouthpiece and bite valve, allowing control of water flow. A fabric sleeve protects the hose from abrasions. The low-profile design allows carrying in pockets of tactical vests, backpack compartments, or hydration systems.
