Good bladder, I have owned a few different brands in the past but at this price point it's hard to find a better one. It offers a covered tube which may offer some insulation but generally just good for additional camouflage and leaves it less prone to bending shut for getting nicked. I carry fairly small loads of water with this but holds a decent amount and so far no problems with the seal, no leaks or spills. Also the nozzle is surprisingly good, has an off and on switch and an end cap for keeping crust off the mouth bit.

The M-Tac Hydration Bladder Gen 2 is a great product. The bladder itself is well-made, and after cleaning it, there is no noticeable plastic taste (at least in my case). It's an excellent option instead of a traditional bottle carried in your hand or backpack during hikes. Personally, I use it in the Helikon Guardian Smallpack 7.5L backpack and think that the 1.5-liter capacity is optimal for it.
