The compass is very decent, its size allows it to be conveniently stored in your pocket or pouch. The mirror is solid, it doesn't look like an ordinary piece of metal, so it may have more uses than just signalling. I checked the compass readings using my phone and another compass – everything matches exactly.

I bought this compass as a spare or in case I lose mine or lend it to someone. For me it is comfortable and does its job. Although it's not a Silva brand, the price is much more attractive.
