M-Tac Alpha Microfleece Gen II - Dark Olive

Great fleece, it far exceeded my expectations and the sizing is very good. It’s fully lined and has plenty of pockets – they might not be very spacious, but they do their job and are lined with a warm material, so your hands don’t get cold.

The fleece is excellently sewn. After several washes, there are no signs of pilling or fading. The extra reinforcements on the elbows and shoulders are a big plus. The high collar effectively protects against the wind. Four zipped pockets allow you to safely store your small items. The fit is snug for a slim figure, but it's worth checking the size chart – I usually wear M, but here XS turned out to be perfect. Best wishes!

Great fleece. Thick, with an interesting mesh structure inside. Everything is well arranged. Has reinforced elbows. I think it’s a real competitor for another top brand. I honestly recommend it.

The fleece is excellent, although the collar could be narrower and it's a pity it doesn't have a drawstring – but that's a minor detail. It's very warm, so I can wholeheartedly recommend this product. The size matches the chart – at 180 cm tall and 84 kg, size M fits perfectly, and you can also wear thermal underwear and a thin T-shirt underneath. Once again, I highly recommend it.

The fleece is warm and pleasant to wear, but like most garments of this type it won’t protect you from wind, so it’s worth wearing a softshell over it. The material quality is good, the zip works smoothly, and the Velcro holds firmly. I recommend it.

The fleece is well sewn. The colour resembles the ranger green from Templar. Although the description states the material weight is 420g/m, in my opinion it feels thinner compared to the Helikon Patriot. I think this is a copy of the Helikon Classic Army, with a similar cut and weight, but with the added option of velcro panels on the sleeves. The fit is more tailored – compared to the Helikon in size M, this model fits a slim figure better. I am 176 cm tall, with a 96 cm waist and 112 cm chest; above these measurements it might get quite tight.

Great fleece, a very nice DARK OLIVE shade. The reinforcing mesh lining is also a plus. I expected the fabric to be a bit thicker, but even so, it is very warm even in frosty weather.

I've bought another model. The quality of workmanship and the solidity of the construction are really high; it looks very good. Reinforcements where needed, that is, on the shoulders and elbows. The DARK OLIVE colour is nice, with a slightly autumnal shade.

Really well-made fleece – high quality finish and well thought-out design. The sturdy Velcro and reinforcements make an impression. It can easily keep up with Helikon’s competition.

I’ve already had fleeces from different brands and I can say that this one is the best of them all. High quality workmanship and well designed technical solutions. This product greatly surpasses the military versions. It’s warm and pleasant to the touch, fits well with the m-Tac hat. I recommend it.

The fleece is very comfortable in terms of cut, and it has the right number of pockets. I really appreciate the lining, which makes it easier to put on and take off. The Velcro seems sturdy and of good quality. I chose size S at 170 cm tall and 80 kg in weight (I have a slightly protruding belly), and the fleece fits great – I could wear a sports sweatshirt underneath and didn't lose any comfort (nothing was tight, although I was worried about this). I also tried on size M, but S suited my build better. I hope my review helps – I definitely recommend this fleece.

Very simple, but excellently designed and carefully finished fleece jacket. The material is very pleasant even though it’s not original Polartec – only the collar is finished with fleece, the rest of the interior is smooth due to the reinforced material, as described. The attention to detail makes up for the lack of classic fleece lining. All the zips are colour-matched, from YKK, and apart from the main one, they’re reversed, which increases functionality and looks good. The elbows have patches down to the cuffs, with pleats for better fitting. Two stoppers sewn into the ribbon don’t stick out. I compared it with the Liberty and Patriot from Helikon, but kept this fleece – I’m returning the Helikons. The M-Tac Alpha Microfleece Gen II is an exemplary designed and made jacket. I honestly recommend it.
