The fire starter works flawlessly, I have no major complaints. With the right angle, it lights a fire on the first try. This is my second product from this brand and I’m very satisfied. I recommend it to everyone.

When you grip the scraper and rod correctly, sparks appear without any trouble. The colour is easily visible, especially if it drops on grass or undergrowth. An additional plus is the whistle.

Good fire starter, but it’s better to have a slightly bigger one – with a larger diameter and length. The rod can fall out of the handle, so you need to glue it in with strong adhesive. The included scraper is only moderately useful; it’s better to use the sharpened edge of a blunt knife. The cord is too short and makes using the scraper difficult.

Thanks to the included scraper, you don’t even need a knife to start a fire. The fire starter is great and produces lots of sparks.

In my opinion, this is the best fire starter available on the market.

Compared to the Bager Outdoor Fire Rod, this fire starter is much better made. I lost the previous one in the forest, and here thanks to the long cord, you can easily attach it to your backpack. It makes strong sparks and is very easy to use. The alarm whistle and accessories pouch are useful extras. Perfect size for a Lansky Turn Box.

The fire starter works very well. The included scraper makes it easier to create sparks, so you don’t need to carry a sharp knife – even children can easily light a campfire. My son is happy, and the product does its job – I definitely recommend it.

Small and handy, ideal for the pocket, the scraper is very practical. It generates lots of sparks, though lighting a fire is harder than with the Army version. For beginners, the Army version would be a better choice.
