I bought an extra one just in case, because the file works brilliantly for sharpening knives. After a year of use, there is hardly any visible wear on the original, but I prefer to have a spare.

Review summary
This replacement accessory set for the Leatherman Surge is widely seen as practical, well made, and easy to change, with the compact storage case also receiving praise. Users particularly highlight the wood saw for its effective cutting, while the file also proves useful for quickly touching up a knife edge. The set makes the multitool more versatile and gives buyers peace of mind by keeping spare parts close at hand. Many reviews also mention the strong value for money, especially when bought on offer. The only minor criticism is that the metal file could be a little sharper.

Very useful, although not cheap. The plastic case in particular is very practical; I now carry eight spare saw blades (for metal, wood, etc.) in two cases in the holster.
-
Useful accessory in case something breaks. A case that holds about four spare blades is included. By the way, the cheap ones from Parkside fit as well.

I bought a Leatherman Surge from a private person, but unfortunately, the set was missing spare parts. Fortunately, I was able to buy them on military. I recommend it to anyone who needs spare parts or wants to have a backup :)

Very practical that you can replace these accessories. The file and sharpener will definitely wear out, so it's worth having a spare. I recommend it, definitely worth buying.

They've come in handy a few times already. It's worth buying as the multitool with the saw and file becomes even more universal.

It's always worth having an emergency spare set! Very good quality!

The saw is excellent, it’s hard to believe such a small saw can cut so well and quickly. The file is also very useful, great for emergency sharpening of a knife.
