The case doesn't quite meet expectations. Although it fits medium tools like the Wave+, overall it is too narrow. The new version no longer has the metal hole (for me, that's a benefit—no scratching the tool and it doesn't fall out), but water can still escape through the sides. The side walls are mostly rubber, which will probably wear out quickly. However, the biggest downside is the lack of capacity – the Wave+ and one bit card are really the maximum that fit sensibly. Two bit cards do fit, but then it's difficult to remove and insert the tool, especially with the clip and lanyard. Because the sides are rubber, you can't really expect them to stretch – the material will wear out first. I don't recommend it for two bit cards; it is still usable with one. The main problem is these universal sizes instead of ones dedicated to specific models. Additionally, now the holster is no longer included and you have to pay extra. For example, the Wingman still comes with a clip and pouch, but the Wave no longer does. The newer V2 holster also doesn't have the narrow rear pocket for an extender, which the previous version had. Worse still, the XL version is a bit longer but apparently even tighter. Ideally, there should be a variant with a snap fastener and Molle attachment.
