The case doesn't quite meet expectations. Although it fits medium-sized tools, like the Wave+, overall it is too narrow. The new version no longer has a metal hole (which is an advantage for me, as it doesn't scratch the tool and doesn't fall out), but water can still escape through the sides. The side walls are mainly rubber, which will likely wear out quickly. However, the biggest downside is the capacity – the Wave+ and one bit card is already the maximum you can fit sensibly. Two bit cards will fit, but then it's hard to take the tool out or put it back in, especially with a clip and lanyard. Since the sides are rubber, you can't really expect them to stretch – the material will likely wear out first. I wouldn't recommend it for two bit cards, with one it's still usable. The main problem is these universal sizes instead of models dedicated to specific tools. Additionally, now there is no longer a holster included in the set and you have to pay extra. For example, the Wingman still comes with a clip and a case, but the Wave does not. The newer V2 holster also doesn't have the slim rear pocket for the extension, which was there before. Worse, the XL version is a bit longer, but apparently even tighter. Ideally, there would be a version with a snap and MOLLE fastener.
