This sharpener is better for quickly touching up a knife’s edge than for fully sharpening it, if you want a really very sharp result. I keep it in my rucksack just in case, and for that kind of use it works well.
Lansky QuadSharp Sharpener
A handy sharpener designed for a wide range of applications, equipped with four sharpening slots made of tungsten carbide and one ceramic sharpener. Sturdy, blue metal casing that can be unscrewed for easy cleaning and maintenance. A lanyard hole allows you to attach a cord or lanyard for easy transport and security when used in the field.
4 sharpening angles, ceramic sharpener
Each slot has been designed to ensure the correct sharpening angle for a specific type of blade, making it easier to maintain the correct cutting edge profile:
- 17 degrees – for filleting knives
- 20 degrees – for classic kitchen knives
- 25 degrees – for hunting and outdoor knives
- 30 degrees – for machetes
This solution allows for precise adjustment of the angle to a specific application, increasing the efficiency and durability of the blade.
In addition, the sharpener is equipped with a ceramic whetstone for sharpening serrated blades.

All these sharpeners are just ordinary, cheap tourist models; they are not suitable for properly sharpening a knife for long-term use. I even found a video from nine years ago in which someone tries to sharpen a knife, but does it very poorly – although the main problem is not with him, but with the weak sharpener. Only a proper whetstone is suitable for sharpening knives. Such poor-quality sharpeners can only damage the knife or improve it momentarily, for example in emergency situations in the forest, but since they weigh as much as a small stone, it’s better to invest in a sharpening stone straight away. Unfortunately, I have already bought it and I regret it, because nearly 100zł has gone to waste and I can’t return it.

Product as described, the sharpener is very easy to use – just slide it 4–5 times and the knife is sharp, as long as it is not chipped. The manual provides the recommended sharpening angles for different types of knives.

Very good sharpener – it’s light, comfortable, and quite compact. I managed to change the sharpening angle on several knives with a flat grind, and then finished the edge with the orange Lansky sharpener. A few strokes were enough to make the edge perfectly smooth. I can wholeheartedly recommend this product. When this one wears out, I will definitely buy another.

Very good sharpener – it's light, comfortable to use, and rather compact. I've sharpened several knives with a flat grind using it; about 6-8 strokes were enough for the knife to reach what was probably its maximum sharpness at the chosen sharpening angle. I can wholeheartedly recommend it. When this model wears out, I will certainly buy a new one.

Good day. The sharpener works great. It's small, which makes it handy and easy to take anywhere. It seems solid, so it should last a long time. Nice design, lovely colour and the option to choose different sharpening angles.

Great sharpener, kitchen knives as sharp as razors! Small, fits in your pocket. I plan to buy the diamond version for comparison.

Excellent sharpener with small dimensions. You can take it with you to sharpen a knife away from home. I've been using it for a year and it still works perfectly. Fits right in your pocket.

I am demanding when it comes to knife sharpness. I have tested many stones, and this one is solid and even someone with no experience can use it to sharpen a knife well.

I bought it a while ago and I am satisfied – small, solidly made, and the colour makes it easy to find in the box. It sharpens knives well. I recommend it in general.

A practical and lightweight sharpener, it has everything you need to quickly sharpen knives in an emergency. The price is adequate for the quality—the value for money, in my opinion, is very good. A great idea for a gift.
