A great emergency snack for survival, hiking, or as a reserve for tougher times. The wafers are light, nutritious and have a long shelf life, making them perfect for a backpack or car. Their taste is simple and slightly sweet, but for survival food, they actually taste really good. A big advantage is that they can be eaten both dry and after adding water. The solid packaging and high caloric value work perfectly when travelling and in sudden situations.

For me, it has proven to be a reliable emergency food because it takes up little space but is surprisingly filling. I find the taste absolutely acceptable, slightly biscuit-like and sweet, so it doesn't have that 'survival food' feeling like many similar products. I have already brought it on several hikes and as a backup in the car, and it's good to know you don't need to do anything special with it or prepare it. The packaging is durable and the long shelf life is a particular advantage if you just want to keep it as an emergency reserve. Overall, I think it's a reliable and practical product that's worth keeping at home or handy when travelling.

Well...rather a not so great product. On the positive side, you have energy for emergencies. Negative: it is a very crumbly affair. Basically more of a powder/fine granulate, not a solid form like a biscuit. As a result, it's quite impractical to eat. Half of it flies everywhere just when you open it. In terms of taste, it's an absolute disaster – but that's negligible since it's intended for emergencies...

Im having one writing this review. It doesnt taste bad at all, just slightly sweet. I was hoping for a near salty cracker taste but it taste like a slightly sweetened granola bar. It feels very consistent like a ton of cereals in one mouthfull.

I'll be honest and give my specific opinion. I did not like this diet. It tastes like chalk and nothing more. As I said earlier, before this I bought 'Seven Oceans' and it was much tastier and much cheaper. It went perfectly with hot tea or coffee. And taste-wise, it was like shortbread biscuits. This is purely my own opinion. Now I know that 'Seven Oceans' is great for an emergency backpack.

I have tried several different products and each has its own advantages and disadvantages. It's hard to say definitively which is the best, as taste is a matter of personal preference. Objectively — they have high calorie content and a long shelf life. During several trips, they served as my basic food (they are lightweight, take up little space, provide lots of calories, and do not spoil) and they fulfilled this role well. I can't imagine eating them for more than a week, but as food for exceptional situations, they are very suitable. I can't say whether I prefer the green or brown version — I haven't had the chance to compare them directly, and in my opinion, their taste is almost the same.

If you pinch your nose and drink it with milk or water, then you can easily eat it and it won't be unpleasant. Otherwise, the taste may not suit everyone. The cubes crumble easily in your hand, but that's because it's a dry powder whose moisture has been removed to extend the product's shelf life.
-
The cubes break very easily, they are packed in foil, and the taste leaves something to be desired, but in emergency situations this doesn't matter much. A big plus is the very long shelf life – up to 20 years.
-
It has a long shelf life, and in taste it resembles ground cardboard – not the best, but I didn't buy it for enjoyment, just as emergency food. It does its job.
-
An excellent and very nutritious ration with high energy value. Very favourable value for money in terms of nutritional content. An additional advantage is an exceptionally long shelf life. I recommend it to everyone.
-
A very good solution in a time of crisis. In uncertain times, it’s good to have an iron food stock. The price matches the caloric value and durability of the product.
-
The ration is exceptionally dry, but that's a feature of this food designed to last up to 20 years. You buy it not for taste, but for power outages or other extraordinary situations.
-
It's an emergency ration, bought just in case. Of course, you have to try it to make sure you could eat it if necessary. The taste is decent, although very dry, so it's better to drink water or something warm along with it. Useful as a reserve.
-
The taste doesn't impress, but it's not for everyday eating – rather for exceptional, demanding situations. It quickly satisfies hunger and the huge advantage is the very long shelf life.
-
Long shelf life, tastes like cardboard – not great, but I bought the ration as an emergency reserve, not for flavour. The product fulfils its purpose.
