Katadyn NRG-5 Emergency Food Ration
The NRG-5 Emergency Food Ration consists of high-energy, compressed wafers. Packed in a hermetically sealed, multi-layered package, they can be stored for up to 20 years. The wafers have a mildly sweet taste and can be eaten directly as crackers or mixed with hot water. The low total weight of the package (containing 9 wafers) makes it easy to carry and divide during survival trips. The sealed closure protects the contents effectively from air and moisture, allowing for long-term storage as emergency food.
Ingredients
The composition of the high-energy ration contains only ingredients of vegetable origin, vitamins and minerals. Consumption of 100 grams of the product allows to meet 20% of the daily requirement for vitamins A,D3,E,C and B12, as well as minerals such as magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, iron and calcium.
