Great emergency snack for survival, hiking, or as a reserve for tougher times. The wafers are light, nutritious, and have a long shelf life, which makes them perfect for a backpack or car. Their taste is simple and slightly sweet, but for survival food, they actually taste really good. A big advantage is that you can eat them either dry or after adding water. The sturdy packaging and high calorie value are excellent for travel and sudden situations.

For me, it has proven to be a reliable emergency food because it fits in a small space but is surprisingly filling. I think the taste is perfectly acceptable, mildly biscuit-like and sweet, so it doesn't have that typical "survival food" feel that many similar products have. I've already taken it with me on several hikes and as a car emergency supply, and it's great that you don't have to do anything special or prepare it. The packaging is durable, and the long shelf life is a real advantage if you just want to keep it as a backup. All in all, I think it is a reliable and practical product, worth keeping at home or on the go.

Well... it's rather not a great product. The positive is that you have energy for emergencies. Negative: it's a very crumbly affair. It's actually more of a powder/fine granulate, not a solid form like a cookie. That makes it rather impractical to eat. Half of it flies through the air as soon as you open it. Taste-wise, it's an absolute disaster, but that's negligible since it's meant for emergencies...

Im having one writing this review. It doesnt taste bad at all, just slightly sweet. I was hoping for a near salty cracker taste but it taste like a slightly sweetened granola bar. It feels very consistent like a ton of cereals in one mouthfull.

I'll be honest and give my specific opinion. I didn't like this food ration. It tastes like chalk and nothing more. As I mentioned earlier, before this I bought 'Seven oceans' and it was much tastier and much cheaper. It went perfectly with hot tea or coffee. The taste was similar to shortbread cookies. I'm just sharing my personal opinion. Now I know that 'Seven oceans' is perfectly suited for an emergency backpack.

I've tried several different products and each has its advantages and disadvantages. It's hard to clearly say which one is the best, because taste is a personal matter. Objectively — they are high in calories and have a long shelf life. During several expeditions, they served as my main food (they're light, take up little space, provide lots of calories, and don't spoil) and they worked well in this role. I can't imagine eating them for more than a week, but as food for exceptional situations they are very suitable. I can't say whether I prefer the green or the brown version — I haven't had the chance to compare them directly, and in my opinion, their taste is almost the same.

If you pinch your nose and drink it with milk or water, then you can easily eat it and it won't be unpleasant; otherwise, the taste may not be for everyone. The cubes crumble easily in your hand, but that's because it's a dry powder whose moisture has been removed to give the product a longer shelf life.

The cubes break very easily, they are packed in foil, and the taste leaves a bit to be desired, but in emergency situations, it doesn't matter much. A big plus is the very long shelf life—up to 20 years.

It has a long shelf life and tastes like ground cardboard – not the best, but I didn’t buy it for enjoyment, just as emergency food. It does its job.

Great and very nutritious ration with high energy value. Very favorable ratio of nutritional content to price. An additional advantage is the exceptionally long shelf life. I recommend it to everyone.

Very good solution for crisis times. In uncertain times it’s good to have an emergency food reserve. The price matches the caloric value and durability of the product.

The ration is exceptionally dry, but that's a feature of this food, which is designed to last up to 20 years. You don't buy it for taste, but rather in case of a power outage or other emergencies.

This is an emergency ration I bought just in case. Of course, I had to try it to make sure it could be eaten if needed. It's decent in taste, though very dry, so it's better to drink water or something warm with it. Useful as a backup.

The taste doesn’t impress, but this isn’t everyday food—it’s meant for special, demanding situations. It quickly satisfies hunger, and the very long shelf life is a huge advantage.

Long shelf life, tastes like cardboard—not great, but I bought the ration as a backup for tough times, not for flavor. The product does its job.
