The scissors cut through a two-layer sock, but have trouble with a plaster – you need to cut close to the centre of the blades, because at the tips they already start to separate and don’t cut. Maybe it’s just my particular pair. Cheap, ordinary stationery scissors work better. I’ve kept them as they weren’t expensive, have a safety feature to prevent cutting yourself, and might come in handy for cutting plasters or bandages in the future. However, for my first aid kit I plan to buy a better pair, or I’ll just put the stationery scissors in.

The price is fully satisfactory. My pair is sharp – I checked even on fabrics. The scissors are light and the right size. They are not suitable for very demanding tasks, but are a great addition to a first aid kit in a backpack. For this price, I choose them instead of the Vera product.

An essential component of every first aid kit or survival set. Very easy to use. Good quality considering the low price. They will certainly prove useful in practice. I recommend this product.
