Effective chemical insect repellent designed for use in harsh climatic conditions and tropical regions, where there is an increased risk of contracting diseases such as malaria, dengue, yellow fever, Lyme disease, and other illnesses transmitted by insects, including mosquitoes, midges, and ticks.
The product’s effectiveness has been confirmed through both laboratory and field tests. Its efficacy was assessed based on performance against approximately 2500 mosquito species, including the most common: Aedes sp., Anopheles sp., Culex sp., Mansonia sp., Psorophora sp.
Protection against bites lasts up to 9 hours after application, depending on environmental factors such as humidity and temperature.
50% DEET – the maximum concentration permitted for human use. For adults only!
Safe usage guidelines
- Provides protection against bites for up to 9 hours after application
- Spray a thin layer on exposed skin and clothing from a distance of about 20 cm
- For external use only
- Avoid use on open wounds, irritated areas, around the eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes
- To apply to the face, first spray onto hands and then gently apply
- Flammable product – store in a dry place away from heat sources and sunlight
- In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water
- Do not use too frequently
- The lotion has a pleasant scent and can be used with other cosmetics, such as sunscreen
- Do not use in closed, unventilated spaces
- If swallowed, induce vomiting and consult a doctor if needed, showing the packaging
WARNING
Due to the high concentration of DEET in the MUGGA product, do not apply it to plastic (e.g. glasses, watches, electronic devices), synthetic fabrics including breathable materials such as Goretex, or painted and lacquered surfaces.

The product works efficiently. If you’re running in the forest, especially in damp areas such as lakes, rivers, or wetlands, it’s essential, because without it, mosquitoes will attack wherever possible. However, remember that the chemical ingredients in the product are harmful to polymers, so you should only use it on your skin, not on equipment.

The product works very effectively, that's for sure. However, it's worth mentioning that it has quite a strong smell, which can matter in some uses, for example in nature photography. The 75 ml packaging is used up rather quickly.

I used this product throughout last season and it worked great. Previously, I was using random drugstore cosmetics that didn’t give good results and weren’t very efficient. It’s definitely worth switching to this product, because after trying it, you won’t want to go back to others. I honestly recommend it.

An effective product with a strong scent. Personally, I prefer to apply it to my clothes rather than directly on my skin, but that's an individual choice – especially if you have any allergies. In my case, it works for a longer period and fulfils its role well. However, it does get used up quickly if I go to the forest often.

For the family. A good mosquito repellent that doesn't stain and is effective. The only regret is that I only bought one, as it runs out quickly with a family of six during outings and nights infested with mosquitoes. Also effective against tiger mosquitoes!

In my opinion, only this concentration of DEET really works. Lower levels do not provide me with sufficient protection. The product indeed repels ticks and does not wash off even when sweating. As for mosquitoes and gnats, it works fine, but if you don’t want any contact with them at all, a mosquito net is the best solution ;)

I use it during trips to the forest or fields, depending on what I expect and what the trip or field game requires. I haven't had the chance to use a stronger model, but in my opinion, this one is sufficient for our needs.

For me, Mugga packaging is an extra protection against ticks. I always have it with me when I go outside. It is small, but very efficient and effective. It has long-lasting action, high effectiveness due to the large amount of DEET, and a pleasant scent, which makes me consider this the best choice. I definitely recommend it!

MUGGA is a classic among insect repellents, it works very well. This version is a bit weaker, but that's a plus – everyone can choose the right strength. Recommended!
