Icebreaker Merino 260 Oasis Half-Zip Thermal Shirt - Dark Loden

Thermal long-sleeved shirt in Dark Loden. Made from a lightweight knitted fabric containing 100% Merino wool, it works well as a base layer for outdoor activities, hiking, trekking, travel and everyday wear.

The sweatshirt is made entirely from Merino wool - a lightweight and soft natural fibre. The material provides a favourable weight-to-thermal-performance ratio and reduces the formation of unpleasant odours.

Merino wool helps maintain the right microclimate next to the skin. In lower temperatures, it reduces heat loss, and when the temperature rises, it helps dissipate excess heat and moisture. For this reason, the sweatshirt performs well in a variety of activities and weather conditions.

A zip extending to mid-chest is placed at the front. It allows ventilation level adjustment and makes the sweatshirt easier to put on and take off.

When unzipped, the zip increases airflow around the neck and chest, which helps dissipate excess heat during intense exertion. When zipped up, the high collar shields the neck from cool air and improves thermal protection in windy conditions or low temperatures.

The use of flat seams reduces the protrusion of fabric joins and lowers the risk of skin irritation. This is especially important when the sweatshirt is worn directly against the body and during prolonged exertion.
