Only suitable for sitting briefly, not for sleeping. I bought it so my son would have something to sleep on at his cousin's, but he ended up with an air mattress, so I used it. Unfortunately, a whole night on this mat on the floor, even on a carpet, was exhausting. I like to sleep on a hard surface, but it didn't work here. For sleeping on the floor you need at least 1cm thickness.
