Tactical UTS (Urban Tactical Shorts) in ERDL camouflage, made from high-quality PolyCotton Stretch Rip-Stop material (50% cotton, 48% polyester, 2% elastane), characterised by its resistance to abrasions and tears.

10 functional pockets

The shorts are equipped with ten practical pockets:

  • two traditional hip pockets with reinforced edges
  • four on the thighs (two wide ones with zips and two narrow ones with velcro)
  • four at the back (two wide and two narrow ones placed inside the wide ones)

Trouser fastening

Instead of a classic button, the trousers are equipped with a wide velcro strap allowing for 6 cm adjustment. An elastic band sewn into the waistband improves the fit of the trousers to the silhouette. Two front belt loops are equipped with additional loops to attach items like a carabiner.

ERDL Camouflage

The ERDL (Engineer Research and Development Laboratory) camouflage was developed in 1948 by an American research laboratory. It did not come into wide use until the 1960s, during the Vietnam War, mainly among special and reconnaissance units. It was on its basis that later designs, such as the Woodland and M81, known around the world today, were developed. The green-brown camouflage palette works well in dense vegetation, European deciduous forests, thickets and mixed woodlands.

    These are truly very successful shorts – they’re comfortable and perfectly suited to use outdoors. The fabric is lightweight and breathable, while also being durable thanks to the Rip-Stop structure. A major advantage is the large number of pockets and their practical arrangement, which easily accommodate a phone, wallet, keys, and other small items, so there’s no need to take an extra pouch or rucksack. The shorts fit well, do not restrict movement, and the hook-and-loop waist adjustment makes it easy to achieve a perfect fit. The 8.5-inch length is very comfortable for me, as the legs end above the knee. I use them both day to day and on trips or outdoor outings. The quality of workmanship is very high – they are definitely worth recommending.

    Excellent workmanship in the Helikon style. Very functional and practical. For me, they could be a little longer, but that is more a matter of individual preference. They are comfortable, lightweight, and look good. A hook-and-loop fastening is essential for me, and I can’t imagine going back to buttons anymore. At this price, I don’t see any real competition. Excellent.

    Perfect shorts for summer trips. Although they have Zimbabwean military camouflage, they look more like a classic holiday pattern with a woodland and floral motif. They have plenty of pockets, are lightweight, and very comfortable. I recommend them.
