I wholeheartedly recommend this fleece. It's light, comfortable and very warm. I liked it so much that my fiancée also wanted to have the same one. I especially appreciate the hood with a peak and the high collar.

The fleece is extremely comfortable and provides a lot of warmth, and the hood has been carefully made. The numerous pockets help to conveniently organise things, although the downside is the weak zips. I hope this will be improved in the future, as it could really be inconvenient in everyday use.

For this price, it's hard to find a better fleece on the market. It's comfortable, lightweight, warm, and fits the figure perfectly. It has plenty of functional pockets, and the vents prevent overheating during activity. Size L fits perfectly for a person who is 188 cm tall and weighs 70 kg – I recommend it.

I really like this fleece I was originally going to get the mk1 but I wasn't so keen on the hood on that version and I much prefer the smaller hood on the mk2. At 188cm and 100kg the 3XL fits me well. If you're backpacking wearing this fleece is a good option as it is very breathable and there are zippers under the armpits for even more air flow. On cold days when I am doing a less intense activity such as walking the dog I pair this with a water proof jacket which is a very warm set up.

It's hard to find anything negative about Helikon products. I bought this fleece mainly with cycling on colder days in mind. I am very satisfied with the purchase – the numerous mesh pockets and extra vents mean I don't sweat even during intense rides, and the fact that I don't have to unzip the front protects me from catching a chill. If anyone needs a good fleece, I can definitely recommend this model.

I ordered the Helikon-Tex Patriot Mk2 fleece, and the quality of the fleece pleasantly surprised me. The only issue is that the zipper is a bit problematic to close! Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase, and the delivery was fast!

The fleece is less warm than its basic military counterpart and seems more breathable. According to the description, the hood should be large enough to fit a hat underneath, but in practice, this only works without a neck – if you have a neck, the cap of the hood sits on the top of your head. You can try to stretch the hood, but then it pulls tightly at the back of the neck. In my opinion, it’s missing about 7 cm of material. The hood adjustment cord broke after just a week of use. It’s a small thing, but in such a fleece, it doesn’t look very good.

I have been using this fleece for nine months now and I can confidently recommend it. It is comfortable, keeps you very warm and feels pleasant to the touch. Compared to the previous version, it is noticeably more fitted, which should appeal to people with a slimmer figure. It's also thinner, but thanks to the honeycomb-structured lining, I haven't noticed it being any less warm than its predecessor. I use it both when going out in the city and during walks in the forest.

Great fleece. This is already another model from the Helikon brand, after the classic version. I took the Classic in size S at a height of 170 cm and weight of 77 kg, I wondered for a long time between S and M, but decided on M and it was a very good choice.
