The fleece is less warm than its military, standard counterpart and seems more breathable. According to the description, the hood should be large enough to fit a hat underneath, but in practice, if you don't have a neck, it works — if you do have a neck, the hood's brim ends up on the top of your head. You can try to stretch the hood, but then it pulls tightly at the back of the neck. In my opinion, it lacks about 7 cm of material. The hood adjustment cord broke after just a week of use. It's a minor thing, but on this kind of fleece, it doesn't look good.

I have been using this fleece for nine months and I can confidently recommend it. It is comfortable, very warm, and pleasant to the touch. Compared to the previous version, it is clearly more fitted, which should appeal to people with slimmer figures. It is also thinner, but thanks to the honeycomb-structured lining, I haven't noticed it being less warm than its predecessor. I use it both when going out to the city and during walks in the forest.

I chose the second version because the new one was too expensive for me. The fleece is very warm and works great during changeable spring weather. It doesn't resemble an ordinary fleece – inside there's a modern grid, which makes it lighter but still keeps heat well. It's worth waiting for a price deal. The zipper is fine, but you need to put in a little effort to fasten or unfasten it, because the two-way slider requires precise alignment – that's the only downside. Overall, I recommend it.

The fleece sweatshirt is very comfortable and provides warmth. The material is pleasant to the touch, and the zipper works flawlessly. Carefully made, available in nice colors and at a good price. An additional advantage is that it comes from a Polish manufacturer, which supports the local economy.

I had some doubts about buying this fleece – at first I considered the PRO version, which seemed better suited for UHS, but ultimately decided on this model. The fleece is fairly loose, so if you plan to wear it under a jacket, it's better to choose a smaller size of the fleece or a larger jacket than usual. It insulates heat very well, but in stronger wind, it's worth putting a Softshell over it. I am very satisfied with the product.

I really like this fleece I was originally going to get the mk1 but I wasn't so keen on the hood on that version and I much prefer the smaller hood on the mk2. At 188cm and 105kg the 3XL fits me well. If you're backpacking wearing this fleece is a good option as it is very breathable and there are zippers under the armpits for even more air flow. On cold days when I am doing a less intense activity such as walking the dog I pair this with a water proof jacket which is a very warm set up.

This is already my second MK2. It works great in cooler, but not very cold days, is very practical and has spacious pockets. It's not as warm as the first version of the Patriot, but it's warm enough. It would be nice if Helikon released a version without a hood.

Great material and stitching quality. It insulates heat perfectly, and the pocket arrangement is perfect – congratulations to Helikon. Size M fits perfectly for 180 cm height and 100 cm chest circumference.

The lack of Velcro on the cuffs is a plus, and the smaller hood fits well with a climbing helmet. The fleece is comfortable and has practically arranged pockets. The downside is the zipper, which can be difficult to fasten – this problem also occurs with a friend who has a smaller size. I have another fleece from the same brand, with a zipper that fastens from the bottom, and in that model this problem doesn't occur.
