I had some doubts about buying this fleece – at first I considered the PRO version, which seemed better suited for UHS, but ultimately decided on this model. The fleece is fairly loose, so if you plan to wear it under a jacket, it's better to choose a smaller size of the fleece or a larger jacket than usual. It insulates heat very well, but in stronger wind, it's worth putting a Softshell over it. I am very satisfied with the product.

I really like this fleece I was originally going to get the mk1 but I wasn't so keen on the hood on that version and I much prefer the smaller hood on the mk2. At 188cm and 105kg the 3XL fits me well. If you're backpacking wearing this fleece is a good option as it is very breathable and there are zippers under the armpits for even more air flow. On cold days when I am doing a less intense activity such as walking the dog I pair this with a water proof jacket which is a very warm set up.

I bought the Patriot Mk2 because I wanted one fleece that could handle random everyday stuff and being outside for a while, and it’s basically turned into my default outer layer. This is already my second MK2. It works great in cooler, but not very cold days, is very practical and has spacious pockets. It's not as warm as the first version of the Patriot, but it's warm enough. It would be nice if Helikon released a version without a hood.

Great material and stitching quality. It insulates heat perfectly, and the pocket arrangement is perfect – congratulations to Helikon. Size M fits perfectly for 180 cm height and 100 cm chest circumference.

Good outdoor jacket for walking in cold weather. The multiple pockets are very useful and well placed. Comfortable to wear and warm, it effectively blocks the cold. The zippered openings under the arms are a plus for venting sweat.

The fleece has perfect thickness – it does not restrict movement and works great as a second layer under a jacket. It is very breathable, which helps with moisture wicking during activity, though for some this may be both an advantage and a disadvantage. The lack of Velcro on the cuffs is a plus, and the smaller hood fits well with a climbing helmet. The large number of pockets increases practicality, and the extra ventilation on the sleeves is a big benefit. The carefully finished interior shows attention to detail and makes the product present high quality appropriate to its price. Fast shipping and efficient return handling allowed me to try different sizes and colors, which made me fully satisfied with my purchase.

The fleece is comfortable and has practically arranged pockets. The downside is the zipper, which can be difficult to fasten – this problem also occurs with a friend who has a smaller size. I have another fleece from the same brand, with a zipper that fastens from the bottom, and in that model this problem doesn't occur.

This is a fleece sweatshirt, a revelation for me. The cut fits well, it has an extended back, long sleeves, a high collar, and very pleasant material. At my height of 174 cm and 83 kg, size M is great - it fits well and is not too tight. I also have the Patriot in the classic version - it's more of a fleece jacket than just a sweatshirt. It's almost indestructible, except for the Velcro, but it has short sleeves and a very wide cut, which I don't quite like. It's more suitable as an outer layer for intensive use. However, the MK2 is a light, ordinary fleece sweatshirt. These are two completely different products, not just different versions of the same one.

Polar works great both during various outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, or working outside, as well as for everyday use. It's worth waiting for a promotion, as you can find a good deal. I have no complaints.

I used the MK1 for three years, then I bought the MK2 and unfortunately after two months of use, the drawstring on the hood broke. Additionally, the main zipper is difficult to use. The pockets are made of mesh rather than solid material like in the MK1, and the price is higher despite the reduced quality.

The fleece is made of high-quality material. The fabric is more elastic than in the Patriot model, which makes it fit the body better. It’s quite long, but while the Patriot in size XS was fine, the MK2 model in size M turned out to be the best, providing a bit of freedom. Very comfortable and warm fleece. I hope the zippers will last.
