I bought the Helikon-Tex M65 Nyco jacket in Black from Military almost three years ago, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. At first, it had a very deep, rich colour, but after a few washes the shade became a little more subdued, which made the jacket look even better. The material is extremely robust and durable, and despite regular use it still shows no signs of wear. The zip is also very strong and reliable. I wear it from the beginning of autumn right through to spring, and in winter, with the liner, it provides plenty of warmth. It performs well both in the mountains, on forest walks, and in more everyday situations. I would definitely recommend it.
Helikon-Tex M65 Nyco Jacket with Detachable Liner - Olive Green
High-quality M-65 jacket for all seasons in Olive Green with a detachable liner, created by Helikon-Tex. This model faithfully reproduces the M65 fit, used by the American military since the Vietnam War. The M65 jacket is an authentic legend. It is practical, comfortable, spacious, and durable. It enjoys great popularity worldwide. Interestingly, it has appeared in films multiple times, worn by characters such as Sylvester Stallone in "Rambo" and Robert De Niro in "Cape Fear".
Durable fabric
The jacket is made from strong, tear-resistant NYCO fabric, consisting of 50% nylon and 50% cotton. This blend provides a balance between comfort and durability, allowing for its longevity.
Spacious pockets and detachable liner
The jacket features four spacious pockets at the waist and chest, drawstrings at the waist and bottom, and a hood that can be concealed in the collar. Fastened with a zip and snaps, the jacket has a detachable liner, secured with buttons, making it suitable for year-round wear. Extended sleeves with adjustable Velcro cuffs protect hands from the cold.

I have long experience with Helikon-Tex items and am completely satisfied. Just before autumn, I ordered an M65 jacket. After receiving it, I put it on and didn’t want to take it off — now I’m waiting for colder weather. If there are no severe frosts, I think I’ll wear it in winter as well with the liner, which, by the way, is also in the sleeves, or I’ll wear a fleece underneath, also from Helikon-Tex. The material and workmanship are top-notch despite being made in China. The pockets are large and convenient, and they look very stylish. The zip is especially impressive — it reminds me of the bolts on medieval castle gates. I recommend it to all fans of the military style.

Size: L
This is a very solid and durable jacket with a timeless, distinctive look. It may seem a bit bulky, but it still comes across better than the models offered by Brandit or Surplus. Before buying, it’s a good idea to check the size carefully.

Wow, really impressed with M65 jacket, have been looking for one of these for ages! It has to be the closest to the genuine article available, and for the price a true bargain. Only problem being it’s now May and probably too warm to wear till the autumn. If you are thinking of buying this type of jacket I would choose this company as their delivery is super fast and reliable.

A well-made classic jacket. Warm with lining, good down to temperatures no lower than minus 5 if worn over a shirt. The zips are not YKK, but they are quite high-quality and look sturdy. The jacket comes up at least one size larger. I have an L for a height of 178 and a weight of 95, and even then it seems a bit too big in the sleeves. I usually wear XL.

Nice colour and workmanship - size info: bought the jacket in L, 182cm and 110kg - more shoulders than belly (waist 100cm) - fits perfectly, nothing to complain about

A very pleasant and extremely versatile jacket for the transitional season. It works well both around zero degrees with a liner, and in light wind and about 15 degrees without a liner. The material looks solid, but it tends to absorb moisture and dries slowly (this is a feature of NyCo), so I do not recommend it for long trips into the forest. It is definitely suitable for everyday use. It is quite roomy, so if you are between sizes, it is worth choosing the smaller one.

I am 65 years old and I think this jacket doesn’t need any extra improvements – whether I choose olive, black, or woodland camouflage, it’s always the same robust model. Compared to, for example, the Alpha, the differences in appearance are minimal, but the price difference is huge in favour of Helikon. At 183 cm tall and weighing 88 kg, size L fits me perfectly; I already have three of these jackets – two green and one black. The only thing I miss is the lack of two internal pockets (one with velcro and one with a zip), like in the Alpha, but that’s a small detail. If Militarie continues to organise promotions, I’ll definitely go for the woodland as well.

The jacket is indeed bigger, or wider I think, than the M65 jackets from other brands such as Brandit and Mil-Tec. Size M fits me for both Helikon and the others, but this one is a bit oversized. The material holds its shape very well, it is not as soft as the other brands, although this could be a disadvantage for some who want a more flexible fabric. I like the black colour the most out of the three, it is darker than in the pictures where it shines a little. In reality, it is an ashy black. Overall, I think the price difference is worth it compared to the other two brands, although the others are not a bad choice for the price either. From my point of view, this would be my first option in terms of value for money, and I say this after having tried all three.

Super fast delivery. The jacket fully meets my expectations and ideas. The 50:50 nylon to cotton ratio is simply amazing and noticeable; I think it will accompany me for a long time. Many thanks.

Very good jacket. With the lining it is great for winter days, without it it is suitable for spring and autumn. The collar offers good protection when raised. It has spacious and comfortable pockets. Protects against wind and light rain. The jacket is heavy and made of stiff material – it doesn't fit in a backpack. The short zip (doesn't reach the last popper) is practical when driving a car. After a few washes, the material's shade changed slightly.

I liked it immediately, and after using it for a longer time, I'm still satisfied. The jacket is very comfortable. I am 184 cm tall and weigh 90 kg, I chose size L and it turned out to be perfect for me – both in terms of width and length. It works great both with the lining and fleece, as well as without the lining, even when worn just over a T-shirt, which pleasantly surprised me. The opinions about the size varied, some recommended M, others L – I think that if someone prefers more fitted jackets, size M could also be suitable for these measurements. The colour also pleasantly surprised me – although some people wrote that it's “too intense”, for me it's well-balanced and for this gloomy winter it's just right. It's a matter of taste, but I like this shade of green for this time of year. The jacket feels a bit heavy when you take it in your hand, but you don't feel it at all when you're wearing it. The material seems to be very sturdy and resistant to damage. With the lining, the weight is noticeable, but for me it's just right. It's really an “armoured” jacket, durable and long-lasting. It's also very warm – combined with the lining and fleece, it's fine even at -10°C and in windy conditions, especially when standing or taking long breaks, which was a pleasant surprise for me. The thickness of the material really helps to retain heat. Only the zip could work more smoothly, because at first it was a bit stiff, but now I've got used to it. To sum up: I'm pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and warm this jacket is, and how well made it is.

Firstly, compliments to the team. The ordering process, order confirmation, and shipping confirmation via email were exemplary. Ordered on Saturday evening and it arrived on Tuesday. It doesn't get any better than that. Regarding the M-65 NyCo jacket: It is really excellently made and, in terms of fabric quality, just like the original M-65 (I have one myself). Possibly even better. Very sturdy and also warm. - Unfortunately, it is not made by Helikon in Poland, but in China! See label. Maybe that's why it fits a bit tighter in the shoulder area. I'm 184 cm and 84 kg and chose size M because my old M-65 is medium regular and fits, but the Helikon fits a bit more snugly when you stretch your arms forward. All in all, however, I consider the Helikon to be the best replica of the M-65 on the market. I'm also pleasantly surprised by the overall offering from Military.eu. In that spirit, happily again.

A good quality M65 replica. This is already my second such jacket; the previous one was also from HELIKON. The jacket is solid and comfortable. It works great in the city as well as on short, a few-day trips outdoors in spring and autumn. In winter, it's worth wearing a warm fleece underneath, as the lining doesn't provide sufficient thermal insulation. For those interested – if you're looking for a comfortable, durable and spacious jacket for Polish weather, it's worth considering this purchase. PS. Remember to regularly reproof it : )

I would give the highest rating, but I don't understand why the zipper on this jacket is on the right side instead of the left – as is the case with most men's jackets. Because of this, it's hard for me to get used to it and I have trouble fastening the jacket. I also checked another version 65 and the zipper was on the left. My original Parka from the 80s also has the zipper on the left side, as is usually the case. What guided the manufacturer to decide on this solution?
