Helikon-Tex M65 Nyco Jacket with Detachable Liner - Olive Green

High-quality M-65 jacket for all seasons in Olive Green with a detachable liner, created by Helikon-Tex. This model faithfully replicates the M65 fit, used by the US military since the Vietnam conflict. The M65 jacket is an authentic legend. It's practical, comfortable, spacious, and durable. It is highly popular worldwide. Interestingly, it has appeared in films worn by characters such as Sylvester Stallone in "Rambo" and Robert De Niro in "Cape Fear".

Durable Fabric

The jacket is made from strong, tear-resistant NYCO fabric, consisting of 50% nylon and 50% cotton. This blend provides a balance between wearing comfort and durability, contributing to its longevity.

Spacious Pockets and Detachable Liner

The jacket’s features include four spacious pockets at the waist and chest, drawstrings at the waist and bottom, and a hood that can be hidden in the collar. Fastened with a zipper and snaps, the jacket has a detachable liner, buttoned on, making it suitable for year-round wear. Extended sleeves with adjustable Velcro cuffs (Velcro) protect hands from the cold.

I bought the Helikon-Tex M65 Nyco jacket in Black from Military almost three years ago, and it turned out to be a great choice. At first, it had a very deep, rich color, but after a few washes the shade softened a bit, which actually made the jacket look even better. The material is extremely sturdy and durable, and despite regular use it still shows no signs of wear. The zipper is also very strong and reliable. I wear it from the beginning of autumn all the way through spring, and in winter, with the liner, it provides plenty of warmth. It works well both in the mountains, during walks in the woods, and in more everyday situations. I definitely recommend it.

I have long experience with Helikon-Tex items and am completely satisfied. Just before autumn, I ordered an M65 jacket. After receiving it, I put it on and didn’t want to take it off — now I’m waiting for colder weather. If there are no severe frosts, I think I’ll wear it in winter as well with the liner, which, by the way, is also in the sleeves, or I’ll wear a fleece underneath, also from Helikon-Tex. The material and workmanship are top-notch despite being made in China. The pockets are large and convenient, and they look very stylish. The zipper is especially impressive — it reminds me of the bolts on medieval castle gates. I recommend it to all fans of the military style.

This is a very solid and durable jacket with a timeless, distinctive look. It may seem a bit bulky, but it still comes off better than the models offered by Brandit or Surplus. Before buying, it’s a good idea to check the size carefully.

Wow, really impressed with M65 jacket, have been looking for one of these for ages! It has to be the closest to the genuine article available, and for the price a true bargain. Only problem being it’s now May and probably too warm to wear till the autumn. If you are thinking of buying this type of jacket I would choose this company as their delivery is super fast and reliable.

Well-sewn classic jacket. Warm with lining for temperatures not lower than minus 5 if worn over a shirt. The zippers are not Ykk but are quite high-quality and look sturdy. The jacket runs at least one size bigger. I have size L for 178 cm height and 95 kg weight, and it seems a bit large in the sleeves. I usually wear XL.

Nice color and workmanship - for size info: bought the jacket in size L, 182cm and 110kg - more shoulders than belly (waist circumference 100cm) - fits perfectly, nothing to complain about.

A very pleasant and extremely versatile jacket for the transitional season. It works well both around zero degrees with the lining, and in light wind and about 15 degrees without the lining. The material looks solid, but tends to absorb moisture and dries slowly (this is a feature of NyCo), so I wouldn't recommend it for long trips in the woods. It's definitely suitable for everyday use. It is quite roomy, so if you are between sizes, it is worth choosing the smaller one.

I am 65 years old and I think this jacket doesn't need any additional improvements—whether I choose olive, black, or woodland camouflage, it's always the same solid model. Compared to, for example, the Alpha, the differences in appearance are minimal, but the price difference is huge in Helikon's favor. At a height of 183 cm and weight of 88 kg, size L fits me perfectly; I already own three of these jackets—two green and one black. The only thing I miss is the absence of two inner pockets (one with velcro, one with a zipper) like the Alpha has, but that's a minor detail. If Militarie continues to organize promotions, I will definitely go for woodland as well.

The jacket is indeed bigger, or wider I think, than the M65 jackets from other brands like Brandit and Mil-Tec. The size M fits me with Helikon as well as with the others, but this one is a bit oversized. The material holds its shape very well, it’s not as soft as the other brands, although this might be a disadvantage for those who want a more flexible material. I like the black color the most out of the three; it’s darker than in the pictures, where it shines a bit. In reality, it’s a grayish black. Overall, I think the price difference is worth it compared to the other two brands, although the others are not a bad choice for their cost either. In my opinion, this would be the first option in terms of value for money, and I say this after having had and tried all three.

Super fast delivery. The jacket fully matches my ideas and expectations. The 50:50 ratio of nylon to cotton is just amazing, you can really feel it. I think it will accompany me for a long time. Thank you very much.

Very good jacket. With the liner, it's great for winter days, without it it's suitable for spring and autumn. The collar provides good protection when raised. It has roomy and comfortable pockets. Protects against wind and light rain. The jacket is heavy and made from stiff material – it doesn't fit into a backpack. The short zipper (it doesn't reach the last snap) is practical when driving a car. After several washes, the shade of the material has changed a bit.

I liked it right away, and after a longer period of use I am still satisfied. The jacket is very comfortable. I am 184 cm tall and weigh 90 kg, I chose size L and it turned out to be perfect for me – both in width and length. It works great both with the liner and fleece, as well as without the liner, even worn only over a T-shirt, which pleasantly surprised me. There were different opinions about the size, some recommended M, others L – I think if you prefer more fitted jackets, size M could also be suitable for these measurements. The color also positively surprised me – although some said it was “too intense”, for me it is balanced and very suitable for this gloomy winter. It’s a matter of taste, but this shade of green suits me at this time of year. The jacket seems a bit heavy when you pick it up, but you don’t feel it at all when wearing it. The material feels very solid and resistant to damage. With the liner, the weight is noticeable, but for me it’s just right. It really is a “bulletproof” jacket – durable and long-lasting. It is also very warm – with the liner and fleece it holds up even at -10°C and in windy conditions, especially when standing or taking longer breaks, which was a pleasant surprise for me. The thickness of the material really translates into heat retention. The zipper could operate more smoothly, because at first fastening was a bit stiff, but I’ve already gotten used to it. To sum up: I am positively surprised by how comfortable and warm this jacket is and how well it’s made.

First, a compliment to the team. The ordering process, order confirmation, and shipping confirmation via email were exemplary. Ordered on Saturday evening and arrived on Tuesday. It couldn't be better. About the M-65 NyCo jacket: It is really well made and the fabric quality is just like the original M-65 (I own one myself). Maybe even a bit better. Very sturdy and also warm. - Unfortunately, it is not made by Helikon in Poland but in China! See label. Maybe that's why it's a bit tighter in the shoulder area. I'm 184 cm tall and 84 kg and chose size M because my old M-65 is M Regular and fits, but the Helikon is a bit tighter when you stretch your arms forward. But overall I think the Helikon is the best replica of the M-65 on the market. I'm also pleasantly surprised by the overall offering from Millitary.eu. With that in mind, I'll be happy to shop here again.

The Replika M65 is of good quality. This is already my second jacket like this in my life—the previous one was also from HELIKON. The jacket is sturdy and comfortable. It works great in the city and on short, several-day trips into the field during spring and fall. In winter, it’s worth wearing a warm fleece underneath, because the lining does not provide enough thermal insulation. For those interested—if you are looking for a comfortable, durable, and roomy jacket for Polish weather, it’s worth considering this purchase. PS. Remember to regularly waterproof it : )

I would give the highest rating, but I don't understand why the zipper on this jacket is on the right side instead of the left – like in most men's jackets. Because of this, it's hard for me to get used to it, and I have trouble zipping up the jacket. I also checked another version 65 and the zipper was on the left. My original Parka from the 80s also has the zipper on the left side, as is usually the case. What was the manufacturer thinking when deciding on this solution?
