Haasta Headscarf - UCP

Universal scarf in UCP camouflage, designed in the form of a seamless tube, made from a breathable and stretchable blend of polyester fibers. It effectively covers the head and neck, protecting against wind, dust, sun, cold, and moisture generated during intense activity.

The material is a flexible polyester fabric with a weight of 185 g/m2 – Elana (94%) with 6% elastane, ensuring elasticity without losing shape. The fabric is characterized by excellent breathability and effective sweat wicking, ensuring high comfort and skin safety. The seamless construction further increases wearing comfort and reduces the risk of chafing or irritation.

Versatile use

The functional design allows it to be worn as a face cover, headband, neck gaiter, cap, hood, hair tie, or wristband. When folded, it takes up very little space, so it can be easily stored in a jacket or trouser pocket.

Camouflage UCP

UCP (Universal Camouflage Pattern) is a digital camouflage pattern introduced at the beginning of the 21st century as a successor to US Woodland and Desert. It combines camouflage functions in various environments - forest, desert and urban - which is why shades of green and beige are combined with gray. The spot arrangement is based on the MARPAT pattern, and the pastel, low-contrast colors create a pixelated micro-pattern that blends well into the environment at short distances but merges into a uniform silhouette at greater distances. UCP showed high effectiveness in infrared, which contributed to its introduction, but it was eventually replaced by OCP camouflage based on the MultiCam pattern.

    A muzzle is a muzzle, it is solidly made and you can feel it, but the white interior may be seen as winter camouflage or something that could bother the user. Probably too warm for summer.

    The scarf is great, I previously bought the version without a pattern and that one was good too. Very comfortable to wear, well made with no complaints and the material quality is very good. It's worth noting that the camouflage pattern is only on one side, but for me that's not a problem. I definitely recommend the product – everything is fine.

    The scarf looks very good thanks to its interesting, Spartan pattern. However, the quality of workmanship could be a bit better, especially when it comes to finishing details. Still, for this price, one can overlook minor flaws. In winter and summer, the scarf works brilliantly.

    The material is definitely too loose, so it doesn't cling to the face. I have a similar product from another company that is almost 4 cm narrower and stays in place better. It works well as head protection against the sun, but it's too wide to protect the mouth and nose from cold or wind :(

    The scarf does its job and has an affordable price, but the downside is that the camouflage pattern is only on the outside, while the inside is just plain white material. This white side often flips over and becomes visible. I think this is an unnecessary saving by the manufacturer, which is not shown in the photos and can be misleading.

    I have tested products from various brands offering Tiger Stripe camouflage and I have found that the Haasta scarf is the most similar to the original. In addition, the workmanship is very solid, the price attractive, and the scarf itself protects the neck well against cold wind and low temperatures, serving well as a scarf.     For me, this was a carefully considered purchase, planned for a long time. After using the UCP version of the scarf for a while, I decided that Haasta ones are worth choosing because they're perfectly made, especially those with Polish camouflage. I have several pieces of clothing in the wz.93 desert pattern, so I had to have a matching scarf as well. I rate the quality very highly, and the colours are rendered brilliantly. I wear it on cooler days, together with similar style clothing – it all matches well.

    There are few neck gaiters or scarves in wz.93 camouflage on the market that reflect the colours so well. Haasta offers them in great quality. Before buying this version, I used another one (UCP) for a long time, so I went for another. The scarf doesn’t fade or stretch much even after many washes. The price matches the quality, and the material works well both in winter and summer. Truly a fantastic scarf!
