Fjord Nansen Vardo XL 1000 g Sleeping Bag - right
Sturdy sleeping bag in Sapphire color, mummy-shaped with contoured profile, providing comfortable body positioning and freedom of movement during sleep. Made of durable Rip-Stop woven polyester, with a strong outer shell and Eko Loft Hollowfiber insulation.
Temperatures and usage conditions
Sleeping bag Vardo temperature ratings according to EN 13537 standard:
- T-max: 25 C - the highest temperature at which one can sleep in the bag without overheating,
- T-comfort: 13 C - the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably all night,
- T-limit: 8 C - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without discomfort,
- T-extreme: -6 C - the lowest temperature in which survival is possible in the sleeping bag. Not recommended for regular use.
Rip-Stop reinforced polyester, PoliCotton lining
The outer shell made of 210T Rip-Stop polyester effectively protects against abrasion and tearing, limiting further damage. The inner lining made of PoliCotton combines the softness of cotton with the durability of polyester, providing good airflow and comfortable skin contact. The bottom of the sleeping bag is shaped like a bucket for better foot alignment and improved heat retention in that area. Inside there is a small pocket for valuables and loops for attaching an additional thermal liner.
Eko Loft Hollowfiber filling
Thermal insulation is provided by synthetic Eko Loft Hollowfiber, made of spiral-twisted, siliconized polyester fibers. Quilted fabric layers keep the filling in place and ensure even distribution. The insulation retains its thermal properties even when wet, washed, or heavily used. The fill is non-allergenic and suitable for people sensitive to down.
Right-side zipper, Anti-Bite system
The sleeping bag features a two-way zipper on the right side, allowing for quick opening from the top or bottom, facilitating easy entry and exit. The Anti-Bite system prevents the fabric from jamming in the zipper. An internal thermal baffle provides extra heat protection. This model can be joined with another bag from the same series.
Integrated hood for cold protection, DUO drawcord
The built-in 3D hood enhances insulation around the head, minimizing heat loss in cold conditions. Its shape also protects against wind and moisture. The DUO drawcord combines elastic and tape – the elastic allows arm movement without adjustment, and the rear tape allows quick adjustment of the fit, especially useful during night operations.
Easy transport and storage
The sleeping bag is easy to pack and carry. When packed, it measures 36 x 20 cm and weighs 1000 g, making it a lightweight addition to any gear.
Included accessories
Includes a functional carry sack that protects the bag during transport and shields it from dirt and mechanical damage.
