Fjord Nansen Nordkapp 800 Mid Sleeping Bag - Left

Sleeping bag designed for use in winter. It provides thermal comfort down to -7 degrees C for women (T-comfort) and -14 degrees C for men (T-limit). The ergonomic mummy-type shape minimizes the space to be heated, increasing thermal efficiency.

The filling is European duck down and feathers in a 91/9 ratio, additionally treated with a water repellent coating. Thanks to the impregnation, the down tolerates contact with moisture better - it soaks up water more slowly and dries faster. Down with a compressibility of 700 cuin is characterized by a high level of compression, which allows to pack the sleeping bag to a small size.

A wraparound collar is placed at shoulder height to prevent cold air from entering the sleeping bag. The 3D-designed hood consists of additional lined edges in the form of a tube filled with down.

The Nordkapp model is made of 20D nylon, which is characterized by high durability and abrasion resistance, as well as low weight. The material has been coated with a WR (Water Repellent) water repellent layer, which provides protection against moisture penetration.

An additional layer of insulation has been sewn into the foot area, allowing to provide warmth while sleeping. The zipper trim has been filled with down, which provides thermal comfort and prevents the cold from getting in. The H-shaped design of the chambers eliminates the effect of down shifting and clumping.

The Anti-Bite zipper, located on the left side, is unzipped at full length and prevents the zipper from jamming. A drawstring at the top provides extra comfort on colder nights. Loops allow the installation of a so-called liner, so that the liner does not slip out when leaving the sleeping bag.

The sleeping bag can be combined with another from the same series, which has a zipper on the right side, to form a single unit.

The drawstring footbox allows for easy unzipping and air circulation. Duo double rubber bands allow you to loosen the elastic drawstrings freely without leaving the sleeping bag. Inside there is a useful pocket for valuable small items.

The most important indicators, with which the limits and temperature ranges of sleeping bags are described, as a rule, are marked with values:

• T-max - the maximum temperature at which an average-built man is able to sleep through the night without sweating excessively or waking up because of the heat,
• T-comfort - the lowest temperature at which the average woman can sleep comfortably through the night,
• T-limit - the lowest temperature at which the average man can sleep through the night.
