Fjord Nansen Nordkapp Sleeping bag 800 XL - right

Sleeping bag designed for use in winter conditions. Guarantees thermal comfort at -7°C for women (T-comfort) and -14°C for men (T-limit). The ergonomic mummy-type form reduces the amount of space to be heated, which significantly improves thermal insulation.

The filling consists of Polish duck down and feathers in a ratio of 91/9. The down's compressibility of 700 cuin ensures high compressibility, allowing the sleeping bag to be packed into a compact size.

A wrap-around collar is used at shoulder level, effectively protecting against cold air penetration. The hood in 3D construction features additional insulated edges, resembling a down-filled tube.

The Nordkapp model is made from 20D nylon, a material with high strength and abrasion resistance while remaining lightweight. The fabric has been treated with WR (Water Repellent) treatment to provide effective protection against moisture.

Additional insulation has been placed in the foot area to increase thermal comfort while sleeping. The sash along the zip has been filled with down to prevent heat loss and protect against cold air infiltration. The H-shaped construction of the chambers minimises the risk of ‘cold spots’ at the joints.

Anti-Bite zip, located on the left side, full-length opening, effectively prevents the zip from jamming. The drawstring at the top of the sleeping bag increases thermal comfort during cold nights. In addition, the sewn-in loops allow the liner to be attached, which prevents the liner from shifting when leaving the sleeping bag.

A specially designed footbox in the shape of a shark's fin provides a natural and comfortable positioning of the feet. Duo double elasticated webbing allows the drawstrings to be adjusted without having to lower the sleeping bag. Inside there is a functional pocket for small valuables.

The most important indicators, with which the limits and temperature ranges of sleeping bags are described, are generally indicated with values:

T-max - the maximum temperature at which a man of average build is able to sleep through the night without sweating excessively or waking up because of the heat,
T-comfort - the lowest temperature at which an average woman can sleep comfortably through the night,
T-limit - the lowest temperature at which the average man can sleep through the night.

The kit includes a compression sack, which makes it easy to carry the sleeping bag efficiently.
