ESS Profile TurboFan Tactical Goggles - Black

Low-profile ballistic goggles with an active Turbst. Fan ventilation system, designed for intensive tactical, shooting, and operational use. Developed in collaboration with soldiers from the elite United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). The design is compatible with helmets and night vision systems, and the wide field of view allows for observation of the surroundings without losing situational awareness. The modular ESS Modular Technology allows for quick replacement of key components, such as the visor, frame, or strap.

polycarbonate visors

A polycarbonate visor with a thickness of 2.8 mm offers the highest optical class, distortion-free vision, and full UVA and UVB protection. The ClearZone FlowCoat technology combines an external scratch-resistant coating with an internal anti-fog coating.

Wide field of view and low-profile design ensure compatibility with night vision and head protection. The goggles can be easily adapted thanks to the modular ESS technology, allowing for quick replacement of the visor, frame, or strap. This model is compatible with ESS U-RX and P-2B corrective inserts, accommodating users requiring vision correction.

Turbst. Fan, PowerPod ventilation

The active Turbst. Fan system ensures air circulation inside the goggles, reducing visor fogging during intense effort, temperature changes, and work in humid environments. The system shifts from High-Speed to Low-Speed mode after an hour and automatically turns off after 4 hours. This solution saves energy and reduces the risk of battery depletion. The fan is powered by one AA battery and operates for up to 150 hours. The PowerPod module is housed in a durable casing, increasing the reliability of the goggles in challenging conditions.

The goggles feature a flexible frame that conforms to the contours of the face, ensuring a comfortable fit. The ventilated system with a dust filter prevents dust, particles, and water from entering. The OpFoam antibacterial lining enhances wearing comfort even during prolonged use.

The Outrigger Strap system allows for secure fitting of the goggles to various helmets, and the adjustable elastic strap allows for precise adjustment to the head circumference.

    It's hard to describe how happy I am with this product. Until now, no anti-fog agent has worked, and now I no longer need to use any sprays or gels (as long as the fan is on the first, quietest mode). This mode is so quiet that you can only hear it from a few metres away in complete silence, without special headphones. The second mode, however, is quite loud and is more suitable for short-term use, e.g. after intense exercise. Cons: - The elastic strap could be a bit longer. - Closing the battery cover requires quite a lot of force, but fortunately you don't have to open it often. I rate the product 11/10. I didn't expect to find something that protects so well and completely eliminates fogging. I definitely recommend it!
