Eberlestock Vapor 5000 Backpack 81.9 l - Mountain

Eberlestock Vapor 5000 backpack is a lightweight, modular model from the EMOD line with a capacity of 81.9 litres. It features a central front pocket with a zip and two elastic side pockets for easy gear organisation. Made from durable 450D Rip-Stop aramid with a PU coating, it combines low weight with enhanced moisture and damage resistance. The backpack can be used with the Eberlestock Mainframe (not included), making it a practical solution for both short and extended field trips.

The backpack is made from solid 450D aramid with a Rip-Stop weave, which reinforces the fabric structure and reduces the risk of tears. Additionally, the material is covered with a polyurethane (PU) coating, providing increased moisture resistance and protecting the contents from rain and light dampness.

The model is equipped with a spacious main compartment with two access methods: through a roll-top collar secured with buckles, and via the front flap with a zip, providing quick access to the backpack's interior. Inside, there are two open pockets and a divider for a hydration system.

On the sides, there are two deep pockets that can accommodate bottles, scopes, tripods, and other items. Additionally, the front features a zipped pocket made of flexible material, intended for small accessories that require quick access.

The design is part of the modular EMOD system and connects directly with the Mainframe (not included). The connection is made using YKK zips and Duraflex HD 25 mm buckles that attach the backpack to the sides of the frame.

The system uses removable buckles with compression straps, allowing the backpack to be moved away from the frame to create additional transport space – suitable for carrying equipment or heavier loads close to the body's centre of gravity.

Doppel:Ganger is Eberlestock's proprietary line of camouflages, using a double-image technique in which an abstract veil layer is superimposed over a classic pattern of stains alluding to the natural surroundings. The depth and contrast effect makes it difficult to pick up the silhouette, forcing the eye to focus on one of the layers, increasing the effectiveness of the camouflage.

The Mountain variant is based on shades of green and brown, allowing it to blend in with lush vegetation, wet areas and agricultural landscapes. It works particularly well in the coniferous and mixed forests of Central and Northern Europe. It is an alternative to classic forest patterns such as US Woodland, Marpat (Digital Woodland), as well as WASP I Z3A.
