Eberlestock Vapor 5000 Backpack 81.9 l - Mountain

Eberlestock Vapor 5000 backpack is a lightweight, modular model from the EMOD series with a capacity of 81.9 liters. It is equipped with a central front zippered pocket and two flexible side pockets that facilitate gear organization. Made from durable 450D Rip-Stop aramid with PU coating, it combines low weight with increased resistance to moisture and mechanical damage. The backpack is compatible with the Eberlestock Mainframe (not included), making it a practical solution for both single and multi-day outdoor trips.

The backpack is made from durable 450D Rip-Stop aramid, which reinforces the fabric structure and reduces the risk of tears. Additionally, the material is covered with a polyurethane (PU) coating, increasing moisture resistance and protecting the contents from rain and light wetting.

The model is equipped with a spacious main compartment accessible in two ways: via a roll-top collar secured by buckles, and through a front flap with a zipper, enabling quick access to backpack contents. Inside, there are two open pockets and a divider for a hydration insert.

On the sides, there are two deep, flexible pockets designed for securely carrying water bottles, spotting scopes, tripods, and other items. Additionally, the backpack has one front zippered pocket, made from flexible fabric, intended for small accessories requiring quick access.

The construction is part of the modular EMOD system and attaches directly to the Mainframe (not included). The connection is made using YKK zippers and 25 mm Duraflex HD buckles that secure the backpack to the sides of the frame.

The system uses detachable buckles with compression straps, allowing the backpack to be detached from the frame and creating additional transport space – suitable for carrying equipment or heavy loads close to the body's center of gravity.

Doppel:Ganger represents Eberlestock's unique series of camouflages that employ a two-layer image technique. An abstract veil overlay is placed on a traditional pattern of natural-inspired stains. This combination creates depth and contrast effects that obscure the silhouette, diverting the eye to focus on one layer, which enhances the camouflage's effectiveness.

The Mountain variant features shades of green and brown, making it ideal for blending into lush vegetation, moist environments, and agricultural landscapes. It's particularly effective in the coniferous and mixed forests found in Central and Northern Europe. This pattern serves as a modern alternative to traditional forest designs like the US Woodland, Marpat (Digital Woodland), and WASP I Z3A.
