This beanie impressed me in several ways. I had no idea that there was some specialised Helikon Direct Action branch aimed at more specialised military markets. The second thing is that the beanie uses Polartec, a material I already have excellent experience with from other products. And the third thing is that the Polartec used here is the thinnest I have seen so far. The result is a minimalist, very stretchy beanie that can cover the entire ears if needed and fits as closely as possible, meaning it follows the shape of the head. You barely feel it on your head; it is very soft and comfortable even after hours of intensive wear without taking it off. I chose it for trekking in the warmer part of the year, for the mountains in changeable weather, when I alternate it with a baseball cap, and it fulfils its purpose excellently. Importantly, it does not overheat. It provides sufficient insulation, and it is clear to me that it will also perform well in milder winter conditions. The size is universal, and it fits my 56 cm head circumference beautifully. For larger heads, I am not sure whether it will be sufficient; personally, I think not. I definitely recommend the product as highly functional and high-quality.

This is a cap from the well-known brand Direct Action, but I have mixed feelings about it. It's quite expensive, and the build quality and materials used don't seem adequate for the price to me, although it will certainly find its supporters.

A light, thin hat for all-year-round use, it works well during exercise, although probably not for frosty days – it's great for summer though. High-quality material and careful workmanship. It's worth checking the size, as it might be a bit tight for larger heads. Overall, I definitely recommend it!

The hat is perfect for wearing under a helmet. If you use it on its own, it protects against the wind and works well on cold days (probably not for severe frost), although in my opinion it wasn't intended for this purpose. When my wife saw me in it for the first time, she said I looked like I was wearing a swimming cap.

An excellent hat, very warm, good insulation, and at the same time your head doesn't sweat in it. It has a flexible material, so it fits even larger heads. Works great with active headphones at the shooting range, it's practically unnoticeable while wearing and effectively protects from the wind.

The material is of very good quality, and the hat is well made. I definitely recommend it.
