A waterproof and shockproof sports watch with a quartz movement. The analog-digital dial is equipped with Auto-LED backlighting and a pointer movement function that reveals the LCD display at the press of a button, to improve the reading of information. The Super-Illuminator backlighting can be activated manually or by raising the hand with the watch and zooming in towards the face. The mineral glass used to shield the dial of the watch features a fifth grade on the Mohs hardness scale.
The G-Shock GBA-900 series of watches gives you the ability to connect with other devices via Bluetooth and control functions, including pedometer: step count chart with five levels of exercise intensity, calorie burned display, stopwatch measurement data log, find phone function, incoming call display, automatic time adjustment (4 times a day) and world time for about 300 cities.
The use of the G-Shock system increases the watch's resistance to shock and mechanical damage. The model features high water resistance and is resistant to submersion up to 200 meters (20 bar), which allows safe use while swimming and even diving. The system also provides protection against the effects of magnetic fields (ISO Standard 764).
Daily time is displayed in 12/24 hour format. In addition, the watch is equipped with: 5 daily alarms with a snooze function, an expanded perpetual calendar, a stopwatch with an accuracy of 1/100 s, a timer counting down to 24 h and a second time zone function. The world time function allows you to read the time in different time zones.
The model is powered by a CR2025 battery, the manufacturer specifies a battery life of 2 years. The watch comes with an elastic strap made of silicone, and the circumference of the strap is adjustable with a buckle.

The watch is really well made. At first glance, you can see the solid construction, attention to detail, and comfort when wearing it. The numerous features are a huge advantage, such as the LED backlight, automatic hand setting via a smartphone app, and other options. The app itself offers plenty of possibilities, including notifying you about calls and messages using the watch's sounds. Although it's not a smartwatch, thanks to the app, the watch is a modern interpretation of a classic model – perfect for everyday use. Not everyone may like the visibility of the hands or the lack of a digital time display, but after a few weeks of use, it doesn't bother me. I am very satisfied with the purchase; I don't have to keep charging the device, and the battery should last up to 2 years – we'll see. I can wholeheartedly recommend the tried-and-tested CASIO brand and the G-SHOCK series – you just need to choose the right model and features at the right price.
