Great, exceptional G-Shock model. Besides being reliable and durable, it really looks attractive. I really like this sporty-military design without unnecessary extras. I definitely intend to buy more Casio watches.
A waterproof and shock-resistant sports watch featuring quartz movement. The analog-digital dial includes Auto-LED backlights and a pointer movement function that unveils the LCD display with the push of a button for easier information reading. The Super-Illuminator backlight can be switched on manually or by lifting the hand with the watch and bringing it closer to the face. The dial's mineral glass offers a fifth grade on the Mohs scale of hardness.
The G-Shock GBA-900 series connects to other devices via Bluetooth, allowing control of functions such as a pedometer: step count chart with five exercise intensity levels, calories burned display, stopwatch data log, phone finder, incoming call notifications, automatic time updates (four times a day), and world time for around 300 cities.
Using the G-Shock system enhances the watch's durability against shocks and mechanical stress. The watch is highly water-resistant, withstanding submersion up to 200 meters (20 bar), making it suitable for swimming and diving. It also protects against magnetic fields (ISO Standard 764).
Time is shown in a 12/24-hour format. Additionally, the watch comes with: 5 daily alarms with a snooze option, an advanced perpetual calendar, a stopwatch accurate to 1/100 seconds, a 24-hour countdown timer, and a second time zone feature. The world time function allows viewing time across different time zones.
Powered by a CR2025 battery, the battery life is specified by the manufacturer as 2 years. The watch includes a silicone strap with adjustable length via a buckle.

Casio is a Japanese brand founded in 1946, known worldwide as one of the leaders in consumer electronics. A breakthrough moment in the company's history was the launch of the G-Shock series in the 1980s, which gained cult status thanks to its exceptional resistance to shocks, water, and extreme environmental conditions. Casio is constantly developing its technologies, introducing features such as Tough Solar - a solar power system - and Wave Ceptor - time synchronization using radio waves, which ensures precision and reliability. The brand's watches are popular among both professionals and users looking for durable solutions for everyday use and outdoor activities. The first G-Shock model – DW-5000C, designed by engineer Kikuo Ibe in 1983, passed a drop test from the tenth floor and continued to function flawlessly, which became the foundation of the series' legend. Today, Casio is synonymous with innovation, reliability, and timeless design.

The watch is really successful. At first glance, you can see the solid craftsmanship, attention to detail, and wearing comfort. A huge advantage is the numerous features, such as LED dial illumination, automatic setting of the hands via a smartphone app, and other options. The app itself offers many possibilities, including notifications about calls and messages through the watch's sounds. Although it's not a smartwatch, thanks to the app, the watch is a modern interpretation of a classic model—perfect for everyday use. The visibility of the hands or the lack of a digital time display may not appeal to everyone, but after a few weeks of use, it doesn't bother me. I'm very satisfied with my purchase; I don't have to constantly charge the device, and the battery is supposed to last up to 2 years—we'll see. I wholeheartedly recommend the proven CASIO brand and G-SHOCK series—just choose the right model and features at the right price.
