A shockproof and waterproof sports watch driven by quartz movement. Its analog-digital dial features Auto-LED backlight and a pointer movement function that unveils the LCD display with a button press for enhanced information visibility. The Super-Illuminator backlight can be operated manually or by lifting the hand wearing the watch towards the face. The dial is protected by mineral glass, rated at fifth degree on the Mohs hardness scale.
The G-Shock GBA-900 series enables connectivity with other devices via Bluetooth, offering functions like a pedometer including a step count chart with five exercise intensity levels, calorie burn display, stopwatch data log, phone finder, incoming call alerts, automatic time adjustments (four times a day), and world time for around 300 cities.
Featuring the G-Shock system, this watch bears enhanced shock and mechanical resistance. It boasts water resistance capable of handling submersion up to 200 meters (20 bar), making it suitable for swimming and diving. Additionally, it safeguards against magnetic fields in compliance with the ISO Standard 764.
Daily time can be viewed in a 12/24 hour format. The watch is also equipped with 5 daily alarms with snooze, a perpetual calendar, a stopwatch accurate to 1/100 second, a countdown timer up to 24 hours, and a second time zone feature. Through the world time function, time in various time zones can be accessed.

The watch is really successful. At first glance, you can see the solid craftsmanship, attention to detail, and wearing comfort. A huge advantage is the numerous features, such as LED dial illumination, automatic setting of the hands via a smartphone app, and other options. The app itself offers many possibilities, including notifications about calls and messages through the watch's sounds. Although it's not a smartwatch, thanks to the app, the watch is a modern interpretation of a classic model—perfect for everyday use. The visibility of the hands or the lack of a digital time display may not appeal to everyone, but after a few weeks of use, it doesn't bother me. I'm very satisfied with my purchase; I don't have to constantly charge the device, and the battery is supposed to last up to 2 years—we'll see. I wholeheartedly recommend the proven CASIO brand and G-SHOCK series—just choose the right model and features at the right price.
