Buff Safety Merino Wool Protective Scarf - Cedar

Protective scarf sewn from 100% certified merino wool, sourced from mulesing-free farms, is distinguished by its lightness, elasticity and soft, pleasant material structure. It meets the requirements of EU Regulation 2016/425 on Personal Protective Equipment, supporting the regulation of body heat. The quick-drying fabric offers UV protection and effectively inhibits odor, making it an ideal choice also as a layer under a helmet.

Merino wool and flat seams

Made entirely of natural, mulesing-free merino wool. The fabric is characterised by its lightness, elasticity and soft structure. The use of two flat seams reduces the risk of chafing, increasing wearing comfort in all conditions.

Moisture wicking, UV protection, heat resistance

The natural fibres of merino wool help maintain an optimal body temperature, effectively wick away moisture and reduce the formation of unpleasant odours. The fabric dries quickly, protects against UV radiation and is resistant to high temperatures. It works well as a layer worn under a helmet.

It meets the standards set for Personal Protective Equipment and IWTO

Compliant with the requirements of EU regulations on Personal Protective Equipment (Regulation EU 2016/425). The wool used comes from certified farms that operate in accordance with IWTO guidelines and exclude the practice of mulesing.

    I have just received this product and these are my first impressions: Very thin scarf with a pleasant feel. It weighs 40g and measures 54x24.5 cm. So it's far from the 70 cm length listed in the offer. For this reason, I only give 3 stars for this product.

    A good quality product. The material is very pleasant to the touch, not scratchy, and feels like cotton despite being wool. Unfortunately, it is quite thin. The biggest advantage of this snood is its suitable length – thanks to this, you can fold it in layers or make it into a hat, which was important to me. I am taking off one star for the thinness of the material and the price.

    The buff is very thin but warm; before the first use, I recommend rinsing it in water, then the buff will become soft. This is my second one. Previously, I bought it in another shop, but it was 30% more expensive. In this military shop the price is lower and the product is the same, I bought it because I already knew what I was buying. Since it is thin, it won't be good for strong winds, but it is great for milder conditions. When folded, it takes up very little space. The price seems a bit too high.
