Brandit M65 Giant Jacket - Black

Great jacket! Admittedly, with the liner in it’s quite heavy, but for me that’s actually an advantage. It doesn’t restrict freedom of movement. It’s very warm—even on freezing evenings, just a T-shirt underneath is enough. The material is sturdy and durable, so branches or small thorns aren’t a problem. The pockets are roomy. At first glance, the zip seems too short and sewn in too high, but once you put the jacket on, you can see it’s positioned perfectly—it effectively protects against the wind and doesn’t make bending down difficult. In short: it’s worth buying without hesitation and simply wearing endlessly.

It arrived yesterday! Black. The jacket is great! Really stylish. Fantastic. The lining is great on its own, you can wear it separately. Nice cut, it's longer than I thought, but that's just a plus. The sleeves are quite long (with Velcro so you can fold them), but that suits me. All-year-round, suitable for any occasion. It’s not super lightweight but very comfortable and the weight doesn't bother me. Size "s" is more like an "m", but with this cut it doesn't matter. Fits well. "A bit" expensive... But it's so fantastic that it's worth spending the money and enjoying it.

A true classic among classics. Compared with other M65 models, it stands out for its excellent, unrivalled cotton. On top of that, it offers a wide selection of colours and sizes, along with a fit that works well for people with broader shoulders.

I’ve been using the olive version for two and a half years, and the jacket has proven to be excellent — it’s comfortable, practical, durable, and also looks very good. Size L fits well after removing the insulation and still leaves room for a thicker sweatshirt at a height of 184 cm and a weight of 94 kg without being overweight. I recommend it with complete confidence.

The jacket has an excellent fit and sits as if it were made especially for me. In my opinion, everyone should have their own 65 in their wardrobe, because they definitely won’t be disappointed with it. It is an excellent jacket for every season.

The jacket is brilliant, I can only agree with all the positive reviews. BUT: the fabric in black attracts fluff like a vacuum cleaner. You can spend the whole day going over it with a lint roller. I've already tried everything, nothing helped. I'm going to get the same jacket in a light/camouflage colour as well.

I bought the olive colour. The jacket is wonderful! The lining itself is great, warm. The cut is excellent — a classic. The sleeves are quite long (they can be adjusted with Velcro), with windproof cuffs. With the lining, it’s not too lightweight, but very comfortable. I took size XL — for a height of 183 cm, it fits just right.

A very beautiful jacket; you can feel the quality as soon as you put it on. The removable lining is really practical and keeps you nice and warm when temperatures drop. I really like the cut and the many pockets, and the black style is really successful too.

Reading some of the reviews, I get the impression that I bought a completely different jacket. Unfortunately, this model was made from weak, tarpaulin-like material and finished with something resembling a lining. The pockets are not very practical — it's hard to put your hand into them, and on top of that they are not as roomy as the description suggests. I chose a size suitable for someone around 190 cm tall, but the sleeves look as if they were sewn for a person who is 210 cm tall. With the liner attached, the jacket still fits fairly well, but once it is removed, it looks terrible and hangs like a sack. It is hard to imagine how it will perform in the first rain, although I myself do not know whether I will wear it at all. I understand that it does not have to be a faithful copy of the original, but it also should not deviate so much from the concept of the excellent M65 jacket. The quality is poor and definitely not adequate for the price. Additionally, I have come across opinions that the jacket is sewn in Germany — unfortunately, that is a naive assumption, because it looks more like Chinese production, if not something outsourced even farther afield. Finally: the hood on this model is more of a symbolic add-on than a genuinely functional element.
