Blackfire Travel Mini Personal Alarm

Personal alarm in black producing a sound signal with an intensity of 120 dB. Activation occurs when the pin is pulled out of the device, resulting in a loud sound that attracts attention and deters attackers. The alarm operates continuously until the pin is reinserted into the slot. The Blackfire Travel Mini model is equipped with a infrared sensor allowing for automatic motion detection in the monitored area, enhancing the protection of personal belongings. The device body is made from plastic, offering a light weight while maintaining high resistance to mechanical damage and cracking. The device's compact design ensures convenience and user comfort.

The device can be used for securing luggage or personal items by attaching the pin, fitted with a steel ring, to the protected objects. Once the alarm is attached and properly stabilised, any sudden tug that pulls out the pin immediately activates the alarm signal. The system continues to operate until the pin is reinserted in its slot, deactivating the alarm. The pin-based design eliminates the need for buttons, allowing for rapid activation in a dangerous situation.

The model is also equipped with a passive infrared sensor (PIR), responsible for automatic motion detection in the surrounding area. The sensor analyses changes in infrared radiation and detects moving objects within a 30-degree range. The detection range is up to about 3 metres, providing effective monitoring of the immediate area. When motion is detected, a sound signal will be emitted for approximately 15 seconds, after which the device returns to standby mode.

The alarm allows you to select the operating mode using a switch, so you can adjust the settings to the situation. In active mode with motion sensor (AUTO), the alarm is armed about 35 seconds after activation, if motion is detected. The device should be placed on a stable, flat surface facing the protected zone. Switching to the off mode (OFF) deactivates all alarm and detection functions. The sliding cover simplifies preparation for use.

The built-in LED functions as a torch, providing an emergency light source. The light is activated by holding down the button on the side of the casing. The torch only works while the button is held, which reduces battery usage and minimises the risk of accidental discharge.

The device is powered by three LR44 batteries. To install, open the rear compartment of the case and insert the cells according to the polarity diagram. Once closed, the alarm is immediately ready for use.
