Blackfire Travel Mini Personal Alarm

The device can be used for protecting baggage or personal items by attaching the pin—equipped with a steel ring—to the item you wish to secure. Once the alarm is attached and stabilized, any sudden tug that removes the pin immediately sounds the alarm. The system operates continuously until the pin is reinserted into the port, which deactivates the alarm. The pin-based design removes the need for buttons, allowing fast activation in an emergency.

This model also features a passive infrared sensor (PIR) to automatically detect movement nearby. The sensor analyzes changes in infrared radiation and detects objects moving within a 30-degree range. Detection range is up to about 3 meters, enabling effective monitoring of the area around you. When motion is detected, it sounds an alarm for about 15 seconds, then goes back to standby mode.

The alarm lets you choose the operating mode with a selector switch, so you can adapt its function to the situation. In active mode with motion sensor (AUTO), the alarm activates about 35 seconds after being turned on if motion is detected. The device should be placed on a stable, flat surface aimed toward the monitored area. Switching to OFF mode deactivates all alarm and detection functions. The sliding cover makes it easy to prepare the alarm for use.

The built-in LED acts as a flashlight, providing an emergency light source. The light is activated by holding the button on the side of the housing. The flashlight works only while the switch is pressed, conserving battery life and minimizing the risk of accidental battery drain.

The unit is powered by three LR44 batteries. To install, open the rear compartment, insert the batteries according to the polarity diagram, and close the cover—the device is then ready for use.
